it literally advertised it as exclusive to that promotion and also advertised it as a contract. They also took away Tyreal’s Mount from players whom obtained the mount from the Asian region and transferred it.
Them rereleasing it is fraud imo.
Okay, let me illustrate it for you because it seems like you are incapable of understanding this without being treated like a toddler:
The promotion you are referring to was a Diablo III promotion. If you subscribed for a year, you got Diablo III for free.
That was the point of the promotion. Not Tyrael’s Charger, but the literal DIABLO III game.
You are footing this promotion as if the only thing you could get from it was Tyrael’s Charger, and now that they’re giving it, the promotion is rendered pointless. You are conveniently ignoring the fact that the promotion was primarily centered on Diablo III, the game.
Therefore, your prerogative of “this promotion was pointless for me to participate in because they’re just giving the mount away for free” is disingenuous because you’re obfuscating the actual intent of the promotion, and if you participated in the promotion just to get the mount, then you’re an even bigger fool because that wasn’t the point.

This makes me wonder… has there ever been a legal challenge to the term “Limited Time Only”?
Now before anyone screams… just remember you can file a lawsuit for anything in the US.
Yes the mount was included with the annual pass and the annual pass was a limited time offer. Nothing is said about the rewards. Of course D3 and MoP beta wouldn’t be returning but at the time, players had a limited time to take advantage of the offer.

What was limited time: THE COMBINATION of the items together is the limited time PACKAGE.
The mount says nothing at all about being limited to this event only. No where does it say “Tyraels Charger will only be available through this limited time package” It says for a limited time this package WILL INCLUDE THIS:

Again, I don’t know why you guys are trying to change the wording on the website. It’s clearly says for a limited time only you get these three things and the offer ends Oct 2011. Then in the support article that’s now been changed, Blizzard stated the mount was exclusive to the annual pass and Taiwan servers.
I genuinely don’t care that you guys have this mount. Y’all having this mount doesn’t make it magically jump out of my mount tab and I never used it as a flex mount.
I have said this over and over: if they’re not going to honor their promotions then there’s no reason to participate. The next year is going to tell the tale. Will we see Blizzcon digital items on the Trading Post or shop? If we do then that would be the nail in the coffin for me, so to speak.

The three-headed dog is leaps and bounds better looking than the Charger.
People are laughing at me for the wrong thing (because I don’t care that they can buy the mount) but I’ll be laughing at them once they realize how bad this mount looks. The wings don’t even beat with the rhythm of the mount flying.

Wow, talk about being stuck on stupid over a very, very, very very, simple marketing gimmick.
Limited time only, hurry while supplies last, act now, exclusive offer, etc. Most people realized it was BS about 100 years ago or more. The fact that companies can still have success with these gimmicks is the true disappointment here. But that’s not on them it’s on the people that fall for it.
