Did the Nazmir incursion this morning. Horde everywhere. A group wiped us while killing the rare outside of Redfield’s Watch. A bunch of Horde were by the sub because a rare they kill is also there. We tried grouping up to fight them, but they outnumbered us and wiped us multiple times. I did finally get my 25 Horde kills, but I died plenty of times for my trouble. Despite all the crying from Horde, Alliance are still outnumbered in Warmode.

Because we are talking about WM specifically and the quest in which you earn items that PVPers (on both sides) don’t see until 2+ months out if you capped conq every week.
Jug how dare you make a claim that personal responsibility for actions (such as pvping correctly, class choice, spec, item choices, talents, working as a team) have anything to do with it!!

…ok, let me say this again, horde dominate pvp and in the past alliance dominated pve…that seems to be the trade-off…
On top of that, 21-2400 rated players will be getting 400 as end of match rewards… and 1800-2k players will be getting 405 ilvl in their cache each week. People are okay with that level reward for just turning on wpvp?

Even if this were the case, (which it is NOT on RP/Oceanic) no one should be getting that ilvl gear on the first week of patch (and every other most likely) for such a menial task.

How many of those top rated players are Alliance? It’s clear Alliance players require significant bribes in order to bother engaging in PvP.
Around here? Sure, they may need bribing. Other region, plenty of Alliance top pvpers, meaning they aren’t having a tough time with racials.

Yes, clearly. So why should they be rewarded 400 ilvl just for turning WM on? Heck, make it 10 3s wins or 10 RBG wins and you might have a case for that level of gear this early.
no, but the horde players who aren’t the top raiders still benefit from being on the same faction. it gave you a population advantage and skill advantage overall in randoms and in world content that helped push the horde even further ahead.
or did you think that horde being the best faction for pvp just “happened”?

yes you know why? because most the top players left teh alliance for horde because of racials. this created a trickle down effect where anyone who even wanted to be remotely serious about raiding has steadily over the past 6+ years has changed to horde.
There really is no advantage in randoms. I win the same on Alliance as I did Horde, which is why I’m here on this Human.
RBGs don’t take place out in the world. Warmode is pointless without members of the opposite faction to fight. People don’t like being outnumbered, so the rewards need to be worth dying over and over.
