Grateful Offerings?

@Blizzard. This late into the expansion, is the grateful offerings currency adding any fun or meaningful difference to the game right now? This expansion is about to start slowing down big time and having to farm grateful offerings to farm transmogs seems pretty toxic this late in the game. Can you look in this and ask if they’re really still necessary?

I’m not sure your logic is as sound as you think it is. When you’ve got nothing left to do at the end of the expansion, you can still be farming offerings.

As it one of the dozen of currencies im sure thay have been completely overlooked

They are mainly used for mogs at this point, but I would like it if I could at least move them between toons so I can finish some of the sets without needing to grind them.

They are going to double the number given from callings in 9.2.5 while keeping the scaling number you get with the anima conductor. They still feel kinda pointless though. Making them account-wide would help. I have some characters with 1000+ of them but nothing to spend them on, could use them on a different class for the mogs.

Thank you for offering nothing meaningful to this discussion. Be gone, RAT!!!

I agree with your point that they feel like a block from the 9.0 patch that really doesn’t need to be there.

I’m exalted with the Enlightened and so I no longer give a cosmic flux about them. I’m going to start on grateful’s too.

People still need these?

I think alot of people were refusing to farm them all this time under the assumption that blizzard would just remove them at some arbitrary point and are surprised that yeah, you still gotta farm a thing in a game about farming things for rewards.

I don’t 100% fault them for that since Blizz is ridiculous with its catch up systems lately, I’m sure most of the time them waiting it out does net them their rewards, easier.

They’ve been taught some very bad habits, it’s tragic.

This is helpful info. Thanks

At that point just remove them.

It’s like Redeemed Souls - why are they still in the game, if we can infinitely farm them all in one day if we want to torture ourselves by going back and forth to the Maw?

Yeah, just add in a token to the “heirloom” vendor in Oribos. Also for Soul Ash/Cinders.

I do my callings and anima conductor dailies. After about a week, I have a few hundred offerings to spend on cosmetics.

I’d give all my Grateful Offerings (and I have… a lot) to buy the traveler’s network appearance at this point.

This. I also have 3-4 characters with a couple thousand each. I already have all the leather and plate mog I wanted, would love to unlock some cloth and mail sets. Meh.
