I think all spec should have option to pick what they like to play. 1 hook 1 step or 2 hooks 2 steps. And move Vigor talent to mid tree.

- 2 hooks (2 charges, halved CD), or
- 2 steps (2 charges, halved CD)

the only problem is hook is outlaw only, as it should. a suggestion I would make instead though, is for Sub and Sin to have the option of Step or Burst of Speed! and outlaw choices Hook or Step. sub and sin arguably are pretty slow in the mobility department, hook is nice and all but all of its flavor comes from outlaw and at least personally it clashes with Sin and Sub, Burst of Speed however is an oldie but a goodie that would blend well for sin and sub.
Why do you think we’re poor on mobility? Why would anyone want a second movement speed buff at the cost of step, when we already have Sprint? Seems weird cause it’s not even close to an equivalent trade off. Burst of speed was overpowered and there’s likely little hope to it ever coming back, even if you try to sacrifice a teleport for it.
Idk man. Seems completely wild to characterize rogues as being poor in mobility as a means of justifying a permanent sprint. What would be the point of still having sprint at all at that point?
That’s also just the last thing sin needs - another skill which has an attached energy cost that doesn’t do damage.

Hook for Sub and Sin is for surviability not mobility. You know how many time vanish failed in team fight after it nerfed? Like i said its choice node. You can pick what you want. Burst of speed will never come back. You lucky Blizzard give you back sprint remove root pvp talent. Dont know why they removed it first place and replace the new pvp talent with reduced cd and duration. Nobody asked for it.

Just reskin hook to be more shadowy like shift for devourer if you want to keep the theme on point. I would kill for that.

I would love it if I could get grappling hook as sub or Assass. Honestly the choice between hook or shadow step is a good one because each one favors certain types of content.
