So earlier this week I upgraded from my old GTX 1070 to a new RTX 3080. Ever since that upgrade, after playing WotLK for 30 mins to an hour, i’ll start getting these glitchy rainbow texture looking things and corrupted looking icons, text, etc. Restarting the game will temporarily “fix” it. I’ve already reinstalled drivers (using latest ones) and done a clean install of drivers with DDU as well. The card is installed properly and I checked all the power connectors. This never happened on the GTX 1070.
As far as I can tell, so far I have not seen this happen in any other games. Here are some screenshots in an album of the issue, hopefully someone else has seen this and has a solution:
