Graphics Card Upgrade Reccomendation

Hey there. I am looking to upgrade my graphics card, and I would like some recommendations on what would be good. I initially built this PC several years ago but have upgraded components over time.

What I want:
I really only play wow on PC. Other gaming is on Xbox. I also use the PC for home 3D CAD projects (Engineer) and my wife uses it for photo editing/graphics. I currently only play on about graphics 5 relatively smoothly. I would like to play closer to the upper end of graphics scale, while still being over 60+ FPS if possible.

Budget is ideally around $150-250. From research I was thinking maybe GTX 1660Ti.

My current specs are below:
Intel i7-3770 CPU
AMD Radeon R7 260 2GB
Asus P8Z77-V LK Motherboard
16 GB RAM
250GB SSD with extra HDD for storage
Corsair CX 500 Power Supply

Consider upgrading your cpu too

Even if you bought a rtx 2080 ti right now, that cpu will be the bottleneck, will be even worse with Shadowlands system requirements

But for the GPU question: if you’re spending that kind of money you might as well get a RX 5600 XT

Literally blows it away for the same price of whatever gtx 1660 TI you’re looking at

You’re better off kicking it up a notch and getting an RX 5700 or RTX 2060.

Both can be had for roughly 300$ and are far better than the 1660Ti (in fact, there is no reason whatsoever to buy the 1660Ti as the 1660 SUPER is nearly as good, within 3-5%, and cheaper).

Either card will last you quite a bit longer, and its only a 50$ stretch.
