I go into the area and the objectives don’t pop up in my quest list side bar. Apparently this is happening to a lot of people. Renown isn’t the issue, as I’m renown 9.

Me as well apparently, ive never seen anything happen when i went to the great hunt, i had no idea there was anything to even do

Yeah it’s supposedly a good way to farm renown for the centaur clan people. I couldn’t get anything to happen so I went to YouTube and saw that people were having the quest just instantly appear in their quest log like a world quest. But it is not happening for me no matter what I do. And I know other people in the comments are saying the same thing.

Happening to me today. Did all three hunts last week. Logged in today on the reset, and I can’t partake in the current active hunt. I guess I’ll try the next. Definitely one of the more frustrating bugs.

I cant join any hunt as well. Seems to be common
I had the same problem. Turn I turned of “world quest tracker” add on and now it works

Same thing is happening for me. I am supper happy that my weekly quest is tied to completing one of these and it just flat refuses to start. Multi dollar company strikes again.

As a test i tried entering the zone with no addons enabled, and still was not able to start the hunt.
Last week and this week unable to do any hunts. Same issues as many others it would seem. No objectives showing. Hunt disappearing. Nothing even present in the area to do. No guidance from any NPCs if there are even any around.
Cannot do the hunt. I am in the area next to other players doing the exact hunt and nothing pops up for me.

Sure would like to complete the weekly. But I am in same boat and I see no response anywhere from Blizzard on the matter. Hunt doesn’t pop up or allow for completion. And the weekly of course is tied to it. Yet some can and will get the weekly done. I sure would love to be able to do the same as them.

Yeah, it’s strange. I haven’t had this issue since I made the thread and have done a dozen grand hunts since then with no problem. I think it might have something to do with zooming into the area riding low and fast on the dragon. It might bug the activation sometimes. Like if you’re just flying in from high up it’s fine.
Just a complete speculation based on my experience.
But another strange bug was that the trial of the flood wouldn’t work for me Tuesday evening, after reset day – while it was working for everyone else around me. And the weakaura I have to track these things said that I had already completed it when I didn’t complete it. But then yesterday the weakaura said that it was incomplete, so I went over there and it worked just fine.
Could be related.
Could it be somehow related to quest completion?
On my main, I completed every quest I could find, both campaign and side quests, before I started doing WQs, hunts, the like. I never had problems with hunts with her.
But then on my alt, I sped run him to 70, and same with most of you, I could not get the hunt to start for him.
Just speculations on my part.
Gonna look see if the same thing happened to my gatherer alt. Leveling her up solely on gathering, so absolutely no quests done. Will check if she’ll see hunts when she turns 70.
This issue is still ongoing Im going to miss out on the weekly because of this bug.

I have the same issue. I have participated in 3 hunts, and had to follow the group. Never got credit for any of them to knock out the weekly quest. I opened a ticket, which I am sure will be addressed in 2-months

I had to do 3 today to get credit once. It seems as though you have to be there at the very start and stay through the entire thing to get any credit.
My partner and I are currently trying to do the Shikkar grand hunt and it’s not working for us. We can see other people doing the hunt, and we can kill the mobs, and we have the 0/6-6/6 Hunts remaining countdown at the top of the screen, but there’s no hunt objectives popping up, and we didn’t get credit for finishing the hunt.
Please for the love of god FIX this Blizz, we want to do our weeklies!!
