LC guilds who do not have a 28-30+ roster are not going to work. It is a system intended for serious guilds with good knowledge and a dedicated team. If you are in a casual guild with LC that might be your problem.

I wouldn’t care if the dude really needed the thing and it was fair and square. But it’s literally not even on HPal list because it’s not good for them and the dude already had his bis trinkets and didn’t even equip the one he just won. I’m not going to share parses either but he got carried by me in terms of healing so it just makes it feel even worse. Atleast in GDKPs or most of them there are rules in place for poor performance of your class, messing up mechanics…etc don’t have to worry about “carrying” people without atleast getting rewarded for it
I’d use Sif’s on FL at least, over using the very low ilvl soul preserver. It’d be worth like 50k health on a siege…

Yeah that makes sense. We barely have enough every week for our 25m and the leader said he thinks we would work better with a smaller team so it just doesn’t make sense. I also agree with using LC as a casual guild does not work
If somebody took an item that I actually needed, just for FL ilvl, I would not be happy.
Yeah I get that. I have bid on stuff in gdkp for FL ilvl, but only when nobody else was bidding at all.
GDKP is a different ball game for sure. I’m sure it depends on the group but in many, gold is the only rule. If you want to bid people up on items you can’t equip, or take gear for your ilvl set that you’d never use otherwise, it’s all fair game.
Yeah but I try to practice some etiquette even in gdkp. We have a core team and I am not going to bid up their main spec to absurd levels just for a piece for my offspec.

Pretty much this. I refuse to make same faction alts because I know the moment the Alt gets like 2-3 pieces of gear each week, the Main cannot get more than 1 or 2 without people thinking you’re taking everyone’s loot.
My alliance guild has an alt-oholic play with us and the guy handles loot by having the mains and prime alts of the other play get first dibbs on loot. It’s a good system so that he doesn’t look like a loot goblin. It might take longer to gear alts, but it works and we invite him every week.

The trick is just playing alts with different groups. When you’re just cycling all of your alts through the same group that’s the problem.

It’s a dick move to invite a pug to a more-or-less guild raid group, and then bolster your rolls by having your mates rolls on items they wouldn’t equipped. Idk man, have a little integrity. You lost a roll, get over it, try again.

So basically you’re a bad guild that needs the help of pugs, which you then screw over by stealing loot from them. You’re just mad you didn’t get in on it. Imagine the lack of self awareness needed to post this and think people would take your side.

Sounds like a poop guild. So you’re basically doing split runs for them gearing them up but they don’t do them for your main. Also the trinket should have been yours imo. That trinket is dogwater for Paladins I’m surprised your Guild didn’t have your back. LC only works with Hardcore guilds in which everyone has knowledge, rewarding the best players as well, and last but not least if you can’t even fill runs weekly with Guildies that’s a major issue. You may have lost 2 bis items but atleast you’re out of that poop guild that seemed to be using you.
Guilds suck at handling stuff in general, want loot? Nah only the guild leader and his 10 boyfriends are allowed to have it, want help? Nah you’re on your own because we ignore everything 99.99% of the time.
Guilds in a nutshell are for a common goal and 9 out of 10 times that is raiding, no one will give two Fs about helping you or anyone else get geared for raiding so they don’t have to pug.
