I posted this in another thread and was wondering peoples opinions on it. This is purely about gpyro and not necessarily about fire mage survivability or that they even need gpy to kill but feel free to chime in.
What if they made it so gpy did 10% max health and then your normal pyroblasts had a chance to leave behind a molten fragment which increased its damage by 5% stacking 3 times. Collect all 3 and gpy does 25% but still has the same cast time and youd have to push in to get the fragments.
Id also like to expand my thoughts on this. I dont think the fragments should be a permanent buff where you could sit on them until there is an opening to free cast. In addition im not entirely certain if the buff should be dispellable.
Baffles me that they can take shimmer versus almost every comp and don’t just fall over for being unable to blink stuns and/or shimmering to unsafe locations to poly as opposed to kiting. Hard agree.
you guys dont know anything about fire mages. xaryu has said repeatedly mages r glass cannons… i think the multi r1 method mage knows what hes talking about…
Could also just increase fire mage damage, delete gpyro and nerf their shields and make them normal again because % based abilities are total trash for the game.
Also think 70% slows are awful for the game. Make frost slows 50%, give them deep freeze back, and reduce their damage slightly.
Keep the one for ret or make hand of hindrance at 50% and increase ret movement speed by 30% for the duration to compensate. Because we’re just really lacking in mobility
It’s just good at oneshotting during wings when you connect for few seconds then los, get kited the rest of the game. If you play against them as ele, frostmage or rogue + firemage its easy af to beat one.
But that’s because of how they pushed so hard on nerfing generator of holy power damage and buffed tv so hard to make it feels powerful.
Compared to legion where templar’s verdict, judgement and blade of justice all hit as hard as each other
