Got "scammed" into an arena team, now I can't leave

Hi guys,

I wanted to try arena so a friendly fellow invited me into a team. In the team there is another guy besides me and the captain.

Did a few runs, then suddenly the captain promoted me to captain and left. Now I’d like to leave and form my own.

But I can’t leave because I’m the captain. I tried promoting the other guy but nothing happens then it still says that “first you must promote someone else to a captain”.

Tried kicking the other guy so I can leave because I’m alone but nothing happens again, no text, nothing.

When I try to leave it still says that I have to promote someone to captain.

People at world chat told me that I’ve got to do the same thing that jerk did to me to leave this “prison”.

So someone “scammed” me, and now I have to “scam” someone else? WTF?

Is this true?

UPDATE: world chat was wrong: Somewhere, hidden on the internet, I’ve found the /teamdisband command.

Open your character screen, click pvp, click the team, right click your name, and click “Leave Team”.

Edit: Just saw your update, glad to know you were able to figure it out.

you know a new team starts from 0 rating

so might as well just stick with that team its free
