Congrats! As for your question, I have no idea.
Last I heard you have to have gotten that book from the Hunter’s Lodge in Legion in order to tame Loque so I never bothered.

Tbh I never see people looking for Loq these days.

No book needed to tame Loque.

No, the reality is that spirit beasts are practically worthless in the current state of the game. So, no one goes after them anymore.
And the people who do want them, likely already have them.
On top of all that, there’s other factors such as phasing/sharding/server population/etc…
All of it factored together make the ‘rare’ hunter tames, in fact, not rare at all.
Edit: Just wanted to add, the reason that all the Exotic pet tames got nerfed/changed into mediocrity is because Blizzard didn’t want BM hunters to feel forced into using one because they were ‘the best’. So, now they all just suck.
Of course, none of this factors aesthetics. If you just want them because they look cool, then do that and choose to be happy.

I recently went back and finally completed the outland and northland rare hunts and I routinely (but not always) saw people camping Loq spawnpoints.
(I’d still like to tame a Loq - even though I was going for the kills achievement, when I finally saw the majestic beast, I waffled for a moment about what to do)
I’m sure it depends on server. In BfA my Wyrmrest hunters didn’t have any competition and I got two back to back using War Mode for the second.
Ghostlands and its server group isn’t terribly active, compared to others.
These are the only two servers I actively play on.
You couldn’t pay me to turn on war mode. (which I guess is part of the reason why it’s a good place for others to hunt)
I got my spirit owl using WM too, yeah it’s real good for it.
…can never remember the name of that owl.

TLPD is a must with Warmode. Even better on an RP realm.
not nearly as many people chasing any of the old spiritbeasts these days, makes it much easier to get them.
But grats on the pets, they still have real long respawn timers so with some bad luck you could still take days of checking to get.
