Got a new MBP. What's the fastest way to reinstall WoW?

This forum post from last year suggested that Windows users could save their WOW installation files on a flash drive and re-install the game onto a new computer, avoiding a massive & slow 40+GB download: https://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/20765557244

Can Mac users do a similar thing? If so, what would the steps be?

The last time I DL’d WoW on a Mac was 9 years ago and it literally took 24-hours. It was a nightmare. I want to avoid a similar download session.

Installing WOW in 2019 is probably a lot more efficient, right? Maybe I’m concerned for nothing.

Anyways, thanks for your ideas and help.

Yes, you can just copy your World of Warcraft folder over to the new Mac via a flash drive or USB drive.

Thanks for the reply, Incaely. As it turns out I was worried for nothing. I’m doing a fresh download (70GB) and it’s chugging along quite nicely. Not too many people using Xfinity at 2am on the East Coast, I guess, lol. Peace.
