That’s so strange, I’ve literally purchased one G600 and have had it for like…many years. I don’t know exactly how many, maybe like 6-7? I use the side buttons a lot, but mainly for cds. I don’t have them bound to my main attacks or anything but 30s cds and the such, absolutely.

Yes I love the mouse and feel the same that the side buttons are not what you would call spam ability quality or comfort.
I have had 2, one stopped working in terms of movement but it’s a better product than the nagas at least from the 2012-2013 ones.

Love this mouse. Currently use that button as trinket. Reaction time is almost instant now.

I’ve been pushing everyone I know to get this mouse since I got mine about a year or so ago now. Best decision I ever made coming from a strict Razer Naga past.
I had the same issue too I’d always hit that awkward side click ring finger button but after becoming used to it, I don’t bind it to anything and don’t hit it anymore.
I just use the side buttons (for arena 1,2,3 kicks which feels super good) like I did on the naga but the mouse ergonomically feels 10x better and doesn’t have software conflicts w/ WoW.

I don’t use the G Shift button (ring finger.) It’s awkward to click and honestly, between everything on my keyboard and the mouse I really don’t need more binds. If I did I’d probably go with Shift + Mouse buttons.
I don’t know what others do, but I use numkey numbers for my mouse buttons. Works like a charm.
I bought a naga back in cata and it broke in 4 days. Bought a g600 in mop and it still works even though I’ve dropped it a hundred times.
I had my first naga last 4 years and I bought it off eBay slightly used. My latest experience with the brand has been horrible though. g600 is feeling super solid tho
