Idk if i will get in trouble for displaying the website name on the forums or not due to something about not advertising on the forums. I don’t want to advertise, i’m not advertising, i wish to report this because we do not need gold sellers ruining our games >.<
I thought the whole idea for wow token is to get people to pay $5 more for subscriptions while having a way Blizzard can profit on making gold. So having competition compared to wow token is bad. Since the advertisment mentioned WOTLK and Shadowlands its in conflicting buisness with Blizzard. Plus they get this gold from hacking peoples accounts and stealing their gold. Its not like their gold farming.
lol? They’re botting… The hundreds of bots you see running around all the zones, mining all the nodes, farming all the mobs… Those are all subs for Blizzard.
Oh… welp shrug Hope they do do what needs to be done for the better of the community and not their pockets but… we know which Blizzard would choose if ya right and this is where that is going.
Every few months they do a mass ban of bots. Because the botters will just buy new ones. But if they banned them consistently they wouldn’t buy new ones because it would be too costly. Think about it.
A new account every 4-6 months is nothing for gold sellers. If they have to buy new accounts and subs every few days or weeks it’ll add up and actually hurt them. You think Blizzard doesn’t know this? They can pretend to care about botters by doing the mass ban waves while still getting the subs this way.
I get those mails all the time, usually with 1 copper attached. They sell GOLD or GLOD depending upon who programmed it. I report them as advertisement since Blizz doesn’t give the option of saying they are gold-sellers. Nothing ever seems to happen to them so I kind of wonder if they belong to Blizz. If you can’t beat 'em, . . .
It is basically an automated bot that sits in Org (or other major city) at the mailbox and does a /who command, then fires off in-game advertisments via the mail to everyone on the /who results.
It is a throw away account so it getting banned does nothing really.
One could argue it is better to not report them so you can block that character. Reporting them just means a new one is made with a new name you do not have blocked.
