Gorgrond Outpost - how to change?

I want to switch my outpost from Lumber Mill to Arena. The NPC “Rangari Jonaa” says:

"Commander, I have no interest in lumber or the collection fo wood.

See me when you have completed your tasks with the Iron Horde, and perhaps after you have gained more experience in combat.

With a bit of coin I could have this lumber yard removed and replaced with a sparring arena you would be proud of."

So… what the hell is he talking about? What Iron Horde tasks? What does he mean “more experience in combat”?

I believe there are questing requirements before you can swap outposts. I’m not sure if you have to complete the whole zone, or just the parts of the zone related to the outpost. (Although for Gorgrond, the outpost based quests pretty much are the whole main zone story.)

This is basically just RP for “Keep Questing!”

"What Iron Horde tasks? What does he mean “more experience in combat”

Bottom line, exactly how am I supposed to a) figure these things out, and b) what to do when all the information I can find does not help.

I have completed the questline for this, except for 1 side quest, where the NPC listed is not there, and the Flightmaster does not offer to fly me to the Iron Front, which as far as I can tell is the only possibility.

So again, wth am I supposed to do at this point?

What quest is it that you are missing? What is the problem you’re having with it? Can you pick it up? Do you have any other quests in the same area that might be causing phasing issues? What character are you having the issue on?

Having the issue on this character. I completed the storyline all the way through “Power of the Genesaur” yesterday, however everything from “A Heavy Helping Hand” to the end now appears “not completed” on wowhead profile. I can’t start again at Heavy Helping Hand because the NPC Thaelin Darkanvil is gone now. I don’t have any quest to abandon to re-pickup again.

The next quest is Strike While the Iron is Hot from Vindicator Maraad -or- Rage and Wisdom from the FM. Niether NPC gives me anything.

Wowhead just might be a bit behind, so if you’ve done the quests, I wouldn’t worry about that.

Power of the Genesaur is not where the Gorgrond questline ends. The next quest I see in the series is:

You’ll need to get through “Strike While the Iron is Hot” before the option to change outposts will be available. (I’m not sure if there are any side quests that are also needed.)

Found it.

Must complete lumber mill quest. I abondoned it like uh, 2 years ago? so yeah did’nt remember that part. Lumber mill, not dark iron quests. extremely (deliberately) misleading.
