Gorechop oozing leftovers need to be NERFED

+14. 5-5.5 million per jump is insane and they can hit you twice in a row. which means you just die. with a barrier it’s about 4 million which is still a lot. by the time you’ve had used all of your defensives youre just dead instantly. I understand if there’s a mechanic youre supposed to follow to mitigate it but there isn’t. please nerf.

… it is roughly the same keystone for every dungeon. Past +12s. Thats the last reward tier so everything after is for the love of the game and shouldn’t warrant these dumb complaints.

The leap cd needs to be increased and it needs a circle indicator, as a cloth wearer this mob is insane.

each dungeon should have its unique strengths and weaknesses. I don’t want too much standardization. It’s very boring. ROUGHLY, yes. exactly the same? no.

Looks like a +18 TOP was timed so there are a few groups getting around the issue.

The only thing you can do is have your group properly rotate stuns on the adds before the leap timer finishes, to desynch them. It’s bad design to have mobs target people repeatedly with 50% hp damaging abilities, sometimes even 3 at a time for gorechop leftovers.

The sweaty overweight people defending bad design like this should be ignored.

If one particular largely unavoidable mechanic is totally out of line with other mechanics, then yes, it should technically receive some attention.

There are other combos in there, like Arbalests with mini-bosses, but unlike the Gorechop adds, it’s reasonable to expect players to manage the trash abilities because of the frequency of their attacks over the duration of the pull.

The Gorechop adds just start to get silly. It’s not nearly impossible, but it’s a different level of unreasonable that is out of line with the rest of the damage that occurs, primarily because you cannot cc them indefinitely and they have a nasty habit of doubling up.

Groups can make it harder on themselves if they stack, but regardless, it doesn’t take a genius to know that sometimes things just start scaling faster and not everything is tuned perfectly, just because that’s how Blizzard released.

Your ability for reason seems to be just completely abandoned now.

The highest TOP key timed is 19.

It does not appear out of line with every other key. I’m sure various factors cause groups to fail.

I didn’t say anything about it being out of line with other dungeons. I suggested that relative to the rest of the dungeon it’s a ton of rng damage that can simply result in unavoidable deaths without truly reasonable counterplay.

I agree with OP. I don’t know if it’s important enough to change at this point, but there’s nothing controversial about the prospect of not everything being tuned fairly and stupid, brainless lizards have no bearing on the truth.

If everything was the norm, we’d just run 4 dps. Cause threatening moments in m+ are far and few in between.

You can’t permanently fix this.

They go into a higher level key, and run into the same issue or maybe it shifts into damage being too low.

But it isn’t unavoidable. You can move, death grip/cc as they jump, or simply desync them.

It would be great if the jump had a short cast timer (maybe 1 second?) and an indicator for who’s about to be jumped though. That would allow you to counter it with ease without relying on weakauras.

I said ‘largely’ on purpose. Because no group has enough CC to keep them locked for the duration. I pointed out that I felt it was ok for trash to behave that way because the frequency is manageable over the duration of the pulls.

There’s a difference between threatening and unreasonably deadly. As a healer I want to heal damage, not rez people I couldn’t heal because they got double-teamed while dodging chains because we missed one CC over the course of a 3 minute fight.

Before your inevitably stupid retort, I don’t think one-shots should be removed from all dungeons. My point was that the amount of damage those mobs can inflict starts to scale less reasonably than other abilities and I don’t think tuning it would ruin the fight.
