Everyone is so worried about streamers, does anyone remember Goon Squad? A cross game guild that was created for the sole purpose of griefing and camping.
Worse then any streamer community could be, they would mob any new mmo. I distinctly remember them being a huge problem in Age of Conan and Warhammer Online.
They are also in EVE Online and have done massive grief campaigns.
Oh yeah I remember them, I vaguely remember back then they took the fight masters away in some major cities on my server so people couldn’t fly out. They would just tank the thing for hours.

The funny thing is Elitist Jerks is led by one Ion Hazzikostas.
Goon Squad is what I remember about the original launch day of the game more than anything else. They must have had 500 members in the undead starting area. Their tag was everywhere. If I remember right they had been recruiting on some forum for months before the game launched.

Yeah, goons are the worst.
And this is exactly why people want to know what servers these sorts of guilds are rolling on.
I don’t think a guild like Goon Squad would advertise that info, even if the realm list was public already.
Mal’Ganis was my first server. I had plenty of run-ins with Goon Squad and Elitist Jerks. They had very tight recruiting policies and were extremely private communities. Even to this day you can’t even access the Goon Squad site without being a “paying member.”
The only thing I’d count on is that they’ll probably be Horde.
I thought it was pretty easy, join SA, become goon. The point being if people don’t want to play with goons, why would they want to play with streamers? Goons existing doesn’t prove streamers are okay, it just validates people who want to get away from them, or people who want to be on drama central.
I hear goons are actually incredibly handsome and friendly to all people except smelly alliance
