Yep blizzard barely tried with frost mage or mage in general. Look at our legendaries they are the most flavorless garbage of all the classes.

At least you got to craft at all.
I’ve stopped signing up to raid on my frost mage main, just doing achievements and collecting mounts, toys until my sub runs out in a couple of months.

I played some frost/shadow 2s and it honestly felt nice. We had so much control that the other teams had to be pulling their hair out.

It will be years before they fix frost. Worst balance team in the business. Cut your losses or prepare to be disappointed
Fire has been the go to spec for like 6 years I think.

I’m very much hoping that’s the case, but Blizz has shown the past 2-3 expansions that they have no real interest in balance. We’ll get told that changes are coming, maybe expect a buff while this raid tier is relevant, maybe expect a buff in the first 2 weeks of the next tier, or the tier after that… Eventually it gets to the point where it’s just “nope, not worth $20 a month sorry” to deal with the endless hoping.
Me personally, I don’t really want to wait until halfway into the expansion for my spec to be decent. We’ll see how H Nathria goes over the next couple of months, but since about this time in BfA we already knew it would be 2 years before we get a look at.

Frost is definitely under performing, but I don’t think its that bad. Honestly I don’t mind being lower middle of the pack in raids because I have so much fun playing the spec. I wish we did get buffed though, but I play WoW to have fun not to be all competitive and the best!
