Goodbye Mage Tower

Unfortunately yes

More tools should be accounted in the tuning, or else it’s not a “challenge”, it’s a “pick the correct class”.

BM Hunter, you can let Fel Bursts through and just Revive Pet. You can absolutely fail multiple mechanics and still kill it as a BM hunter.

They are but you are getting a New Transmog and a New form the other tank specs just get a transmog so it is worth it

You shouldn’t let your Pet die in Fel Burst and reviving your Pet dismiss your second Pet and make you the target and takes several seconds for the Pet to get back aggro and you complicate the fight a lot.

No, not to the same extent, except about a few challenges that Blizzard did in fact nerf. The biggest complaint at the time was Prot Paladins having to burn so much more health than other Tanks, making it almost impossible. Only 1 Prot Paladin managed to do it on the first pass.

The answer was always : wait for Tomb, you’ll have more gear, this will be easier.

You won’t even be here for it to matter. Unless you resubbed?

Legion timewalking and Mage Tower are back in March though.

No, it doesn’t.

Wanna know how I know ?

The pull I killed it, I revived my pet twice. 2nd pet was happily still going all the time.

Same, for my BM win my pet died a few times…

One thing I can say is how glitchy the Mage Tower is at times congratulations for getting the challenge without suffering from aggro lose some of us were not that lucky but still were able to get it by doing it right

There’s really no “right” way to beat any of them, you either win or you don’t. I tweaked a lot of strategies to fit my own play style instead of trying to follow some guide I read online.

Ignoring the inability to determine causation, it takes a special level of arrogance to think anyone who doesn’t work for blizzard has a better understanding of metrics that drive player behavior than those that do work for blizzard.

I get it. It feels weak to say “I don’t like” or even “my friends don’t like”, it seems like it would carry a lot more weight to say something like “millions of people don’t like…” or “millions quit because…” and have it just coincidentally align with your personal opinion.

The problem is (again) that it won’t work with anyone who’s finished high school because any first year student could recognize such a blatant an ad populum.

I used a corehound it was totally amazing to have an extra defensive against Fel Burst

Yep I used corehound too, the extra dps from shield was helpful too.

Feign Death ?

Do you even hunter ?

Blizzard has proven they have no clue about how to read a room.

That’s why their entire game library is emptying faster a NY McDonald’s after a rat is spotted.

You know, the thing about Subscription based video games, is that they require popularity to make money.

A first year High school student would know this.

Oh, I didn’t realize you surveyed current and likely future customers and had analysis on what they say they want or how that correlates with current trends or upcoming planned releases.

Please, do share your in-depth market analysis.

I don’t need to, we can see the MAUs trending down for the last 3 years now.

I mean, keep doing what you’re doing and the MAUs will keep trending downwards.

I did the mage tower on my Druid at level 50 and on my BM hunter which is my main. Easy as F.

Yep easy as pie.

That means what, exactly? They don’t even split that up by game, let alone correlate shifts to anything. Maybe the game is just old. Maybe there’s new/better competitors. Maybe people are getting back to their social lives after the pandemic. Maybe the scandal moved the needle. There’s an infinite number of reasons anyone might leave the game, and agreeing with your agenda is only 1 of them.

Your armchair psuedoanalysis is a boring, tired take.
