Goodbye Faction Pride

Chicken little the sky isn’t falling

Goodbye Horde.

Yes and football is just a sport but there are riots and fights over it. This won’t be an insignificant change because some people care quite a bit, it will be entertaining to watch people get what they asked for

Whats wrong with calling orcs greenskin? They are green, no?

These debates are actually quite interesting…it reveals a lot about the human heart and how viewpoints develop. Someone start a case study NOW

When this subject has come up in the past, I’ve always thought about how funny it would be if people that were afraid of looking for a raiding spot started moving to the alliance, because now it doesn’t matter, and the alliance population became bigger than the horde, lol. Not saying that would happen, but they hypothetical is funny.

Okay.
I bought some laundry detergent from Japan. I can’t wait till it gets here. :slightly_smiling_face:

Why would you play alliance with that name?

  1. Quit the Horde
  2. High elf with blue skin
  3. Helping Alliance fight the Jailer
  4. Cross faction in 9.2.5

If they want to do it right they should race change to a regular Tauren to indicate losing Cenarius’s blessing.

The events that lead to BfA were bad and immersion breaking. Are you saying, as a hero of Azeroth, our characters were that brain dead that we thought a faction conflict was pertinent right after coming together to save the world? While the world needed saving AGAIN because a skyscraper sized sword was impaled in it?

You’re a druid. A DRUID. Does the Cenarion Circle mean nothing to you? Paladins, rogues and shaman have established, in-lore cross-faction organizations as well. Giving players choice isn’t a bad thing.

Guild pride and self pride are more important anyway

Horde vs Alliance is only one, limited role-playing option. If you want to have more choice and role play according to the lore, there’s times we need to work with each other. We now will have that option.

It depends.

Extremely no.
This is ridiculous.
If you don’t want to play content with Alliance characters, don’t.
The rest of us will be having fun with our friends.

correct

and those people are equally deranged

Yeah, I am not a fan at all of this BUT I understand and get it and it is definitely better for the game.

Blizzard basically encouraged the ridiculous faction imbalance and showed their Horde favoritism for MANY years. Taking jabs at Alliance players at Blizzcon didn’t help either. Anyways, they let this get out of hand and now they have no clue how to get the balance back so this is the only option they have now.

Then you understand that people care about things more or less than other people. “It’s a video game” isn’t an argument against that it is a statement expressing that YOU think it’s not as serious because it’s a video game. We aren’t all going to care about things to the same level, it’s fine.

ofc i understand

but when someone is speaking about something with “disgust” and “hatred” and its a video game im sorry but that is incredibly unhealthy viewed through any lense

:man_shrugging:

To each their own, for everything in the world there is someone who loves it to an “unhealthy” level.
