I’ve gone Tailoring in which I had picked up herbal as a 2nd profession but feel like meh not to good of a pick any suggestions as to which rolls best with Tailoring. Also note this is my first time doing Tailoring.
I don’t know how it is in retail, but in classic with my mage, I always took enchanting along with tailoring. The greens I made with tailoring that I didn’t use could be dis’d to aid my ench skill, and I could enchant the greens I did use.
Yeah, enchanting is the usual go to second profession because tailoring doesn’t need a gathering profession and you can DE tailoring stuff you make to get mats for enchanting.
The best pair for tailoring is one of 2 options
-
the obvious enchanting so you can disenchant your crafts to fuel enchanting more or sell enchanting mats to make gold.
-
the not so obvious skinning, this will give leather for some of the boots you craft and gives you leather to sell as you’ll only ever need a bit for shoes. It also pairs nice as you get your cloth farming mobs & can get the leather skinning and farming mobs too.
It comes down to preference and what you want more. Simplicity from skinning and fuelling tailoring a bit more or utility having access to your own enchanting and grabbing materials from your tailoring.
