Well there are several workaround being talked about, but for obvious reasons they won’t be posted here because y’all like to mass report.
Well I quit SoD before the gdkp annoucement because of too much retail harming the overall quality of gameplay.
But gdkper are welcome to come to Era:
- Leveling is better and low levels won’t have artificial level boost
- No ugly retail-like abilities (warlock demon form, mage ground fire trash, etc.)
- No ret paladins in raids (the rare ret in raids is always huge gamer to make it work)
- PvP is much better
- No resilience, dmg nerf in bgs, charity pvp rep, etc.
- PvE content is better tuned and not faceroll easy
- GDKPs are alive and thriving
- Way less bots
Oh, and best of all - no ridiculous runes that make all classes basically the same.
Happy i started a bit late as i think id be brain dead at having to run bfd more than 1 month.

I use my org cuts to gear my alts. Tell me you’ve never run a GDKP without telling me you’ve never run a GDKP.
People continued to run it because of RNG. I’ve never seen an epic staff drop - ever.
