Just want to share that after 12 long years of farming the Sha of Anger, I finally got the mount to drop!
It’s less of feeling accomplished, and more of relieved. lol

I kind of want Ruhkmar but I don’t farm him because it’s a pain to get out there and I prefer the birds that can land, which they have now.
I did the cheaty method. got tired of farming em and no lifed pandaria remix.
I got it on my first week with my 6th alt, gz on yours.
Good for you OP. I can appreciate that level of effort enough to change my mind on any kinds of snark, cynicism, or commentary that could mistakenly make me appear to not be happy for you.
Also, brag much? 12 years of dedication, I could do that too if I were dedicated enough.
In my opinion, “the nightmare has finally ended” is not a feeling the game should try to evoke in players.
I got the sha of anger mount after 4000+ attempts, the week they nerfed it after that DH trial issue.
This is the sole reason I have never bothered with that mount. Talk about FAR out of my way to even think about parking alts there. Nope. It’s a beautiful mount, but too much transportation maneuvering to get there and back with alts every week.
Tell me about it. I agree. And this isn’t even my worse “nightmare mount”.
I STILL haven’t even SEEN Experiment 12-B, despite completing that Raid, and it’s “Glory of” back when it was current. I have been running alts into DS since then every week and still no drop.
I have tried for more than 10 years to ask Blizzard for “bad-luck” protections like Final Fantasy 14, where it should be 100% drop after X number of attempts or give coins that you can then exchange for mount after a certain amount. But NOPE.
Super good for you! I couldn’t bring myself to farm. Not sure why? I dunno. But before mounts were account wide, I got a few Time Lost Proto drakes. Not sure why I could do one and not the other.
You could buy it in one day in Pandaria Remix so the mount isn’t really that rare anymore but gratz still.

Nice! I got mine way back in the beginning part of DragonFlight. When I got it, I was not aware they highly buffed the drop rates. When I did learn it I threw all my alts at the other world boss mount droppers and had the others all within a month or so.
At the moment Underrot is becoming a huge bane to me. I’m approaching 400 kills and no mount thus far. Then there’s Timereaver as I’m approaching 3500 attempts for it and nothing.
Sadly, due to IRL I missed the entirety of Pandaria Remix. It would’ve been great to get all those goodies, et c’est la vie.
i bought all the mounts i wanted from mop remix, no reason to ever go there again.
