Any recommendations for a nice nameplate addon I can use, especially good for tanking? It’s normally not a problem as a dps but I’m trying to tank and when the enemy is attacking something else the bar only turns a little brown. I don’t notice it very well.

But I will also state-- you’ll probably only get 50% of what’s great about it on your own.
It’s one of those addons that people spend HUNDREDS of hours on playing around with it … if you look at even just 1-2 YT vids, you’ll probably get even more usefulness out of it.

Plater is great but it becomes a lot better if you import a good profile.
Search for a good profile can be tedious.
Threat plates works out of the box.
I tried plater but its not easy to set up. threatplates works great with very little tweaking to settings

But what I like about it is I don’t want a profile. I want to make my own.
I want primary targets to look one way, secondary targets another… and on and on.
Basically what Plater was designed for and that’s to customize it how I WANT IT.
Yeah… if all you want from Plater is download SOMEONE ELSE’S config… then it makes sense you’re want something else.
It’s like going to a really nice Mexican place to eat, asking someone else what their favorite dish is, and then saying “but I don’t like spicy food.”
Why are you even there? lol
Another for plater, it works great out of the box without messing with it, but is highly configurable if you want to (configure yourself or importable profiles)

Plater is the only answer, coming from someone that was stubborn for literal years on keeping using KUI nameplates.
Plater allows you to do almost anything with the plates, its pretty much required to run high keys at a decent level comfortably.
Your amory and progression speaks for itself, rofl.

Thank you all for all of the nice suggestions. I have plater right now and it’s got so many ways to customize it, I enjoy it. It definitely is way more clear than the standard blizzard nameplates. I think I may try a couple of the other ones later on too, because it’s fun to try it out. Honestly I’m glad I asked, I haven’t heard of some of these before.
