DH a good main? Trying to focus on one character. I am looking for a good solo class in both pve and pvp. I really enjoy the playstyle of my warrior but feel I suffer a bit in the survivability area in BGs. DH looks like a lot of fun, and it was my favorite hero from my war 3 days…
Yes. It’s a great class and does pretty well in all areas of the game at the moment.

its good if you can get used to the one play-style havoc has. It does very well in about everything. Vengeance takes a bit to get used to if you’ve never touched it. But i would say i very much enjoy it.
I love it. I switched from rogue main after 14 years early into BfA. DH has good survivability, good movement, decent damage, and a more engaging play style than most other melee dps. Vengeance is not currently one of the stronger tank specs, but can still hold its own, giving you a group a viable alternate tank in a pinch.
Also, warglaives.
They are going to take a little hit in survivable dept. next xpac.
Personally I would also look into the stuff Warriors are getting next xpac.
They seem to be good!
I main it only because Combat was deleted from the game. It gets very boring sometimes, but it can still be fun.
This is extremely subjective. I, a person you know nothing about, have more or less stuck with my DH for the last two expansions, which is longer than I’ve stuck with any other character, but that doesn’t signify anything. If you like playing the class, play it.
I stopped playing my hunter after ilvl 445 went DH, I’m already 446, and rolled through the quests to get my rank 15 cloak like it was nothing. Solo, DH is insane. Been doing okay at pvp also
