That’s the point. Why would you trust them? This isn’t the Blizzard from 15 years ago. ABK deserves no trust. If you’re given the opportunity (TEST is free, btw.) to find out something before hand - why wait for a launch to find out it’s still garbage?
Blizzard BETA tests have always been about product previews more than actual bug testing. When was the last time you heard of Blizzard changing things based on player feedback during a beta? Pretty much never is the answer.
Why should you trust a supermarket to sell you wholesome food? Because of their reputation, and because it’s illegal to sell unwholesome food.
Why should anyone go to the effort of testing something on the PTR, when so often without notice a change has been made to make it dramatically less than what it was there?

I always laugh when someone leaves due to some made up reason.
This sucks though, and the thread is on 2200+ replies, filled with people experiencing this. Definately legit.
I have also noticed a distinct lack of technical polish this expac - lots of random DCs, inexplicable locks for 6-12 seconds. Randomly will start stuterring (like you described, only it goes away after 1 pull)… odd add-ons clashes, even fully up-to-date ones making it so I can’t click links in chat or a variety of other odd effects.
Heck, sometimes even my graphics go haywire and everything gets these lines of weird rainbow colors that I have to refresh UI to fix.
Fortunately, nothing that renders the experience unplayable. That really sucks OP.

According to Brian Birmingham, former wow classic lead engineer, ABK forced Blizzard into crunch mode to get both expansions, WotLK and DF, out the door before the holidays.

You just told us that if a supermarket was giving out free samples, unless you had tasted those samples you had no right to complain if the product was inedible or unwholesome. That’s a lie. You have every right to complain and report them to the proper agency.
Now you’re telling us that a player who is fully aware that there are often unannounced last minute changes that make the released content very different is still obligated to do lots of possibly pointless testing for no reason whatever, because in the end, we get what they decide to give us, which may not ever resemble what we were told we were getting.
I don’t understand your point, except maybe you just like to blame players when blizzard doesn’t give them what they were promised, and which other players described on the ptr. You like to waste people’s time. It keeps them from asking real questions about what your lords and masters are doing with the game.

I’m saying the complete opposite.
If you have the ability to find out if something is going to be fixed or not just by downloading and logging in - just do it. You don’t get to play the victim if you don’t take the time to see if your problem has been fixed or not on a PTR, a public preview.
Anything else you THINK that I’m saying is just you projecting.

I mean honestly, if you’re done and dont enjoy the game anymore, or just search for flaws, quit, unsub, whatever, Blizzard doesnt, we dont. The game is flawed, yes, but its nowhere near unplayable and is in fact super fun most of the time, PvP especially, and PvE.
All games are bugged and have flaws, crashes, repairs, patches, etc, but if you enjoy it enough you just play and stop whining on forums thinking youll change a thing.

Possibly not. I had and issue with frequent dc’s and over 4200ms world ping in raid. Ran WinMTR and some other diags while this was going on. Stream, discord, all utilization and temps were normal, etc. It’s since settled down to double the previous world ping with occasional mild lag spikes. Ironically, wotlk client is unaffected, running a normal world ping. Ticket has been open for days… With the first response being to request the usual local diag files that I actually included with the original ticket.
