I thought I was improving at a decent rate and was starting to hang with teams around the 1500-1600 CR level while pugging with randos in LFG. Well all of that came crashing down tonight. I feel like I’m not playing any differently than I was yesterday but I am currently on a 15 game losing streak as I am writing this. I find myself all of the sudden struggling to keep up with poor comps around 1000 CR with no idea what’s changed in my playstyle. I’m afraid if I keep queueing up tonight I’ll quickly be back down in the triple digits in CR. Maybe this game just isn’t for me

Inn all seriousness you win some you lose some i would just focus on what i could do better and keep grinding man. No reason to hang your head over some loses we all have bad nights.

Then I informed him that having 21 renown gives you higher health.
He decided to stay.

It isn’t for most of us but TBC is coming. I would say stop Queing 2’s just too much is broken. Just casually do somethings till the game is fixed in a few months.
Don’t insult horses. WoW is many things… many things we can’t say on the forums but most definitely not a horse.
Just grab a Ret and a Disc Priest and play one of the best comps (Cupid) in the game.

This is the only thing that is going to come of BC. The illusion of BC arena being amazing is going to be dispelled soooo fast for most people. Especially those that never played back then.

Heroes never give up. Even the best of players go on insane losing streaks. I can tell by the post you are stressed out and down about it, just do something else in game or irl for a day or two and come at it with a fresh attitude and angle. It’s very easy to passively lose focus on the task at hand when you’ve been concentrating on it for too long.

I was struggling to get the Observing Skirmishes quest done and after 5 wins decided to install Reflex to see just how bad it was.
This was on the character I’m posting on. I’m not saying these results are just because of gear, they clearly aren’t. I’m bad at arena by any measurable standard. The problem is made worse by gear though, that’s for sure. It’s difficult to improve when most games last between 30 seconds and 1 minute and it’s tough to work on your skills by playing people that are already much better then you AND they start the game with 5k-10k more health.
The first 2 weeks of the expansion was some of the most fun i’ve had pvping in this game but the last 2 weeks have steadily been getting less and less fun.
And for 2.5 hours of getting dunked on in unrated skirmishes tonight, I got enough honor to make my boots 184, which is still trash. Yay!

With all due respect, you haven’t completed even the most basic PVP task of maxing your honor gear. and you have a lot of conquest that you could earn. You’ve got a lot of gear directly in front of you to grind out, that is not locked behind a weekly reset or anything. You should grind out BGs and aim for first win of the day in each queue until that is done… No point in complaining about gear when you haven’t gotten your semi free gear yet

Just give it time… we must do their grind.
Despite the glaring flaws this is still the most unique pvp game and it’s heckin’ valid.
Gear will even out soon enough. Back pedaling mythic babies will once again be where they belong.

I feel ya op.
Pre rogue nerfs i had a great time in 2’s with a healer getting 1830 (i wasnt even abusing 1 shot gimmicks or running double rogue)
Then the nerfs came and dampening changes happened…
Im tanked as low as 1450. Am 1500 rn and cant play with healers anymore due to being smashed by ww/arms etc.
So i pug random mages in lfg and just go up and down in cr.
Its depressing.

I feel for this post completely.
Game is so competitive that it’s not even fun queueing games anymore.
Every game feels like if you make 1 minor mistake, it costs you the entire match.
Like in order to win, you need to counter your teams cooldowns at every angle, and play precisely in such a manner that every movment or action you take must be calculated, meanwhile 2 dps can quickly just drop your full hp bar in a global.

dont worry im in your same boat. rolled priest and did 2s with my warrior friend. well it didnt go so well. we’re both undergeared and we had about a 50% win rate but all the mistakes and losses got to us and now im rerolling a different healer. 
not giving up though.
It’s the meta. Every team wins via cheese. Just blow all your CD’s and hope to insta kill someone. It’s only going to get worse with more gear, and Activision has made it clear they don’t care. I called it weeks ago when we didn’t get another balance patch 2 weeks in a row. Ion lied. They do not care if people die before you can react.
