I like the perfect circle cover more than the original.

Understatement of the decade.
“Toxic” is a word used by people who grew up receiving participation trophies.
If instead of paying $15 a month, you set aside $13 a month, you could actually pay for the six months.
But that aside, you can get the mog for 300k gold. Gear pieces on the AH go for more than that.
Just some suggestions! Not trying to dismiss you.
ah so you do understand the difference of degrees in things. Nice.
Activision tried to patent a matchmaking system that was influenced by how much you had spent on the store to put you into different lobbies with people. That one caused quite a stir in I believe 2018.
Hearthstone packs are basically made so lengthy and time consuming to grind out that you feel obligated to buy a pack for a dollar because playing what is it, 30 rounds or something to accrue the gold to buy a single pack takes far more time. Not to mention last I was playing to be competitive you HAD to buy all the DLC and get those cards as well, especially ones like Thaurissan who ONLY could come from the expansion. Then the constant phasing out of older cards in favor of the new ones to ensure you’re constantly grinding or spending money on packs.
Destiny 2 cosmetics where after a bunch of lying by Activision saying “The XP doesn’t change after cap to get the free engrams!” then a bunch of testing came out and proved that your XP was HORRIBLY gimped after cap to encourage you to buy engrams that they later had to dial back.
Certain Heroes of the Storm characters being outright unusable unless you preordered a game (For Overwatch, this was Tracer I believe) or waited weeks for the character to actually be released on the store to be used.
You’re choosing to fixate on the non-predatory aspects and presume that’s all of them at play. They aren’t. Nobody cares about the skins on the store, everybody knows they don’t actually affect your ability to play. However they have employed means on the past that heavily bordered on predatory.
I wouldn’t be shocked if one of this expansion’s secret items requires you to have something from the store, I kind of expect it at this point. It’ll get by based on “Well you don’t have to have it.” but it doesn’t make the practice any less scummy.
You compared Child molestation to a cash shop item…idonteven
Well yeah comparing Fifa Ultimate Team to wow cash shop is night and day.
Both are still bad consumer practices though how can you not see that.
no, you just countered your own argument by creating an extremely hyperbolic comparison.
the problem with setting aside $13 a month, is that i would have to quit for 6 months (which means probably missing a entire patch) to do. I might just farm the gold for it, but then i would just like a way to buy it with gold directly instead of buying tokens.
The fact is that was the first example to try and rationalize your point of view, speaks leaps and bounds about you. You’re a person that no one wants to be around.
Make sure to report the post. Mods can see what was originally there.
Good. People who buy this are the reason blizzard chooses to put cool sets in a cash shop while making 90% of in game rewards recolors. Ita like bota in classic wow. They are there because there is a market.
I don’t think you have a distrubed mind per sey, but your argumentative tactics are about as graceful as comparing the stuff you don’t like to… how should i put it, something that rhymes with mitler. cuz, you know, both are bad, right?
Cool set? I even think its ugly as sin, and I got it for free. The reason some of us wear it is to cause some mayhem. Some people get so irrational about the dumbest things.
I’m gonna be glad when the hype is over; the commentary over "SET BAD BECUZ BAD"
is honestly just… deteriorating my sanity.
Somebody did /spit
on me earlier for having the wings mogged (they look cool with the radiation shirt). I just did /rofl
at them for being a little manchild. Weirdly they ignored my BF who had more pieces mogged than I did.
You’re right it was extreme which is why i deleted it but the point still stands that just because the loot boxes blizzard put out aren’t as severe as EA’s doesn’t mean we should defend them. Unless they want to put an 18+ tag on their games gambling should not be a part of them.
Weather you like it or not thats subjective. It is objectively a very detailed and unique set.
Its been like this for years. Mounts races, pets and now transmogs. Usually it dies out after a month or so. After that you might get the occasional expiative.
Your left with two choices. Don’t wear it for now, or expect people to act like animals. There really isn’t much anyone can do.
