Congratulations, anti-shop community! You’ve successfully managed to actually gain traction on harassing people who have the new transmog! A friend of mine has stopped playing because of days of toxic behavior. You should be proud, those of you who support harassing others for some pixels! Perhaps if you keep it up, you’ll have the game all to yourselves and we can get all of those pesky happy customers to quit!

Edit for those who keep claiming “weak, thin skinned,” etc:
No one was upset, horrified, depressed, crying, angry, nothing. It was simply a very calm decision: “this game is negative right now, I shall swap to something that isn’t!” It’s really that simple and drama free.
People choose to have positivity in their recreational activities. They function quite happily because of it.

I am disgusted by it, honestly. The poor soul was so excited it was added he was on the tip of his seat refreshing his mail for it to arrive! To be then kicked down like a helpless puppy and then even harrassed IN GAME afterwards…

I put this thing on a lot of my toons. No one has said or done crap to me about it. I think the instances of this happening are more rare than the ones whining about it want to admit.

Happy customers don’t leave if they are truly happy. Maybe if Blizzard were better at handling toxic people this wouldn’t happen?
There are also people who want to leave because of the transmog and mount - I’m sure that’s their own problem though.

Blizzard shouldn’t have to police a community of a few mil players to this extent. Give players the tools to control who can interact with them and in what way. Trying to get Blizzard to ban people who kick others from groups is futile, just ask the guilds who haunt the low level dungeons kicking people for fun.

Selling transmog that they could’ve made a quest for is dumb.
But it’s not my money being spent on a fairy costume either, if people want to look whimsical instead of drop dead gorgeous like me, that’s their choice.
