Good job blizzard it finally happened

That’s why I’m excited for ashes being a pvp based game, with the world being a huge setting.

No factions but the ones you created.

Players create and control the major cities on each server (meaning one server will have their cities in different places than anothet) and you take control by doing pvp

That’s actually my other complaint with FFXIV. In wow you can go seamlessly from zone to zone, like durotar to Barrens etc, but in xiv there is a load screen between every zone. Pretty immersion breaking. That and you can’t land flying mounts on regular cliffs and there’s no world pvp

The dungeons in Ashes are open world

You want to sell your goods in a different ah, better caravan it there and hope no Maraudering players come and steal it.

Ff14 had a great class identity and I hope ashes can do the same

I have zero idea. I’m at that age where I start ironically using the lingo that the generation younger than me uses, and then it becomes part of how I speak lol

Haha I’m right there with you. For me, it’s my early 30s.

Just turned 28. I live in a college town, so I’m constantly being exposed to whatever the next come-up is lol. Don’t understand much of it

This game is terrible now, WTF. Every 2 days they roll out a PVE hotfix, meanwhile, barely 3 have been rolled out for PVP since the Xpac Started… WTH

25 days until my sub expires and I’ve never been so excited to leave a game.

I’m playing every day, because every time I log in it just re-confirms how far the game has fallen. It’s like a slow torture, just to sear it in my brain that SL is beyond redepemption.

Legion and MOP were the last glimmers of hope that I had for the game.

I’m done with the RNG, the systems-in-systems-in-systems. The constant class imbalance. all of it.

The gyms opened up in my area, finally, so I now have that to fill my time. No more Quarantine WowW… back to normal life for me.

If I need to stay updated on the crap story, I’ll go to Youtube for the 3min videos we get every 6mo.

I can’t keep with the story, you’re stronger than I am.

Game is bad. I’ve been playing for 15 years. I’m done with WoW. I encourage everyone to unsub… Maybe by doing so Blizzard will feel pressure to make changes…

I feel the moment everyone leaves they are just going to pull the plug and focus on their one true love, money and go full mobile developer.

I just hope someone makes a game like WoW arena.

how do u feel about World of Warcraft Arena: Mobile tho

In the words of Yahtzee “Oh God the universe is collapsing in on itself, what is this hairy round thing in front of me, oh god it’s my own bum”+

Game is trash, same as 9.0

Agreed, the devs need to go. its time for a change.

Yeah, I unsubbed and played LoL, CoD, and GTA online for like 3 days. Had to come back, even in the state it’s in WoW PVP is still more fun than other games that I’m aware of currently.

There is a way to make gear work. This isn’t it. Fresh 60s have difficulty queuing into PVP. They struggle to gain rating, because they are too squishy than it won’t work.

The way it would work is if in PVP your gear is raised to normal raid equiv each tier, and then you climb up the ladder.

For example:

Fresh ques: If you are 190 equip or lower ilvl, your gear is scaled to 226 ilvl in rated pvp.

As you gain rating, you gain better gear, gear that scales in ilvl in the outside world so you have gear you can use if you want to run m+ or raid.

But… Even if your ilvl was higher than 250ish, once you enter rated PVP your gear would be scaled down to 226. Everyone would be 226. The power differences would come from what gear players chose. And of course some pvp’ers might want to farm dungeon trinkets etc.

The way this works is if a mythic raider ques in 252 ilvl gear, their ilvl would show 226, and they would be scaled down too.

So, gear is impactful and matters, but you get balanced to the same 226 ilvl. Then this way details still works, and matches the damage you do, so we don’t have those BFA issues.

Thoughts?
