I agree with you, there is no need to repeat the 500 other posts with why pvp is bad.

I wish many posts would highten the chanse of blizzard listening but i severly doubt they care.

The fact that we now need high rating to get the gear needed to enjoy casual pvp says it all.

I got 2100 last season and got over average gear on allie side, but that doesnt matter when theres 5x more horde players than allie with that type of gear. Only reason why i did rbg’s was to be able to enjoy casual pvp.

It still doesnt feel very enjoyable atm. I got honorlevel 540, so you can safely say i have done my fair of bg’s. But its rapidly becommming less and less. I do my korthia daily chores than play ESO for pvp.

dude the devs even said they dont play their own game. even ion makes changes if he gets slighted. this vision they have is not a good vision. i love pvp but these past few xpacs have been utter garbage. tuning and abilities plus the cc that needs a good looking at. tired of hearing well time ur cd’s. cant if u get feared then stunned then disoriented and then just left while ur team mate gets bent over the table with blood as lube.

i HAVE seen atrocities on a spec basis but these were typically addressed and tuned quickly

Some got handled pretty quickly. Others have not. The fact that multiple classes can kill someone in less than one GCD is extremely unhealthy for the game imo. I understand damage is healthier than dampening but there needs to be some sort of middle ground.

Blizzard uses "no longer obtainable items to reinforce peoples’ emotional connection to their characters as well as keep them subscribed and playing every single season. From the psychological standpoint, it’s not necessarily Stockholm syndrome’s identifying with your adversary for your own safety but rather a case of “look at everything you have while you stay in this abusive relationship”

I wouldn’t even call ffxiv hyped. It just slowly earned more and more people’s trust due to the constant erosion of wow by wow.

Naoki Yoshida said they’re revamping PVP for the new expac as well as adding new “small scale” pvp and then he said “please look forward to it”. The difference between WoW and FFXIV is that when FF says “please look forward to it”, they usually aren’t kidding and it turns out pretty good.

If I was a majority PVE player, I would be all over FF like mediocrity on a donnally, but the PVP was always lacking. We will see what changes.

I feel like I’d be willing to play FFXIV if people even queued for the subpar PVP. Sat in an hour long queue for ranked feast last night and it just never popped sad face
