So what is with this current trend of making Loki be more of a protagonist. I have seen it in MCU and in the God of War series and Now I am seeing it in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Can someone explain this to me?
Might stem from Kid Loki from Marvel years ago. They started making him a hero here and there. Then split up his personality into three characters, some good, some bad. Then he was Teen Loki.
It probably has to do with serial literature trying some thing new and different.
If you look at the lore of Loki from Norse mythology, he went back and forth between being a protagonist and antagonist. From what I understand of the Marvel comics, he’s done the same thing over the years.
