going to be playing with a friend but was looking to make a character to just hang out on and play, not sure witch one to use, want to avoid pally and druid.
Hunter, Warrior or Rogue. I have multiple alts of each.
Yep.
Hunter or Druid.
If you’re avoiding Druids, Hunter all the way.
WW monk or Ret Pally if you want a non pet class. I love self healing classes for solo play
Hunter, Paladin or Warlock. For solo play, these are basically god mode.
Literally any of them.
Ive played them all.
BM hunter is the most braindead easy while being one of the funnest/fast paced while mowing down anything in its path
Druid. Don’t avoid them. Embrace the Thunder Chicken!
But if you weren’t going to be hanging out with a friend and were actually going to be just tromping around the world solo… then Warrior.
Frost mage all day every day
Shadow Priest.
Hunter, monk, and death knight are all about to solo most things and quests especially if you do alchemy/herb with them. But Hunter is the easiest out of the three.
Honestly I’ve played all of them solo.
One too many over the last year but that was for achievement reasons.
I found pretty much all of them. That’s also on a perspective of nothing but open world, no dungeons, no raids. Just callings ect.
Make a DK. Unholy.
That or demonology warlock. You can have your own little personal army.
It depends on what you want to do.
Tanking - prot war is pretty much unkillable in dungeons.
Healing - Resto shaman, always super easy to heal with and deal a lot of damage.
Damage - Hunter or locks are by far the best solo classes due to pets. Bm and demonology can hard carry dps, but bm tends to be easier to play.
anything with either a tank spec that has good self-heal and/or class with pet tanks (hunter/locks)
Warlock!
best class for everything, and the coolest people.
I’m going to recommend Hunter.
They are pretty fun (for me anyway.), have tons of new awesome looking pets to chase after in DF and are great for soloing content.
If you enjoy battlegrounds they are amazing there thanks to their range and the damage they can dish out. Their Binding shot and tar trap are also good for CCing a large group of enemies.
Class is pretty easy to play, some specs more so than others. With something like BM all skills are instant and can be used at max range, letting you focus on mechanics and positioning rather than losing out on DPS every time you are forced to move.
Transmog has not always been the best, but there are some good sets in SL to unlock. My favorite being the Necrolord mail set and the raid sets from the first two raids / PvP. The Primal Elements and the raid/PvP s1 set for DF look good so hopefully we get another expansion of decent / good mogs and the ugly mail armor meme can finally die off.
Hunter is ez pz.
Druids (feral) are good at solo play, especially out in the open world while questing because they can stealth and are able to heal
Bm hunter or lock, although personally now that warlocks are unkillable I lean more towards lock.
