Good class for a solo player

Hello all,

So starting in TWW I wanted to challenge myself to see how far I can get in achievements on one toon. I know having multiple is the best route (Multiple attempts at mounts/achievements being account wide etc) but I also will be doing M+/Raiding and my time is a bit limited as it stands due to outside WoW obligations. That being said I’ve also been a player who likes to maximize on one toon anyway.

My question is what do you think is the best class in your opinion to tackle something like this with? While I do know personal preference also takes a factor that’s why I’ve ruled out Druid, Hunter and DH. Sorry to those who main those and enjoy them, I’m happy for you just not my cup of tea don’t know why. All other classes I’m fairly happy with playing. I also am aware that those are three good classes for solo players haha so bit of handicapping myself.

My goals for this are all quests possible in game basically going to run each “expansion” in order, dungeons and raids (these are trivial with the way scailing works to my knowledge) but also achievements within each of those dungeons/raids. Collecting mogs, mounts and pets. PvP won’t be a big priority for me as I understand that takes away a lot of time from other achievements and gearing for both PvE and PvP is a time sink I don’t fully want to invest in and choose PvE over it.

Any help on what you think could be good for that is much appreciated.

Hunter and lock have always been good options for soloing a variety of content.
Hunters also have large amounts of active and passive, zero downside move speed increases in talents, abilities and in picking a pet with the move speed passive bonus. Just makes running through the old content much faster and more efficient.

There are some raid achieves that you’re just flat out not going to be able to do with a single class or even single character due to their mechanical design (several in the Tomb of Sargaras and Blood-Queen Lana’thel’s in ICC come immediately to mind).

You can probably knock a ton of them out otherwise with just one character of almost any class.
