Good change with the 60 day game time purchase

I’m honestly a little envious that you can be at work and still be on these stupid forums.

I work afternoons and nights, I don’t get that luxury. :stuck_out_tongue:

Time to lean, time to clean after all.

Anyway, you guys can keep making up stuff and say how it’s impossible to get 30 day gametime anymore I guess

Good luck

All I work is nights and I pretty much only have a wow sub so I can fight people on the forums to pass time

Are you actually this naive, or purposefully obtuse?

Like, you know why trash apps give you a “free trial” through a subscription model, hoping you forget to cancel?

Yeah, it’s the same scummy tactic.

And if you say “Well if they were smart they would remember to cancel”, I will laugh my cheeks off.

Why arent we talking about the fact that they removed 90 and 180 day options.

They are closing down the game… confirmed!

You literally cancel right after activating it, all in the same motion

There is no wait til the end of the month or 2 weeks, you can do it immediately

so when trying to buy wow sub for gift you now only have option for 60day…

Damn this xpac really going places since I left.

Dude, the whole point is that they are trying to take advantage of people not doing the whole due diligence, so people like you go “well they should have been smarter about it”

That’s what makes it scummy, because it takes advantage of people not knowing everything/forgetting. It’s literally about looking at the metrics and see that at the end of the day, more people will forget or not it figure out, which is a net gain for Blizz.

It’s a number’s game about a multi-billion company taking advantage of people’s flaws.

“ 2 months later “

Activision: We report a staggering 700,000 increase of active subs on World of Warcraft!

Me: Gee…I wonder why?

Correct.

World of Warcraft®: Subscriptions
Includes access to World of Warcraft and WoW Classic!

6-Month Subscription & Lucky Yun
    $12.99/month
    Best Value
    Save $24.00 per year

3 Months
    $13.99/month
    Save $12.00 per year

1 Month
    $14.99/month

$14.99
Billed every 1 month. Cancel online anytime.

Those are the options I see when I look at subscriptions. This change affects game time that can be purchased and not to subscriptions. Change still feels greedy. Sucks to be someone that buys only game time.

There is no wait period of ending your sub, you don’t need to write it down on the calendar to remember to unsub on the 29th or anything

You do it the very second after activating the sub

I really don’t know what to say to you if you consistently instantly forget what you’re doing in the middle of things

Also it’s cheaper than buying gametime, so y’all were just spending extra money this entire time

So I can’t gift $15 game time anymore? This is crap

Yea this is the most logical complaint so far

You won’t be able to gift your friends a month of time anymore, which is an odd change

And there you go, siding with the company against the consumer that would fall into this.

I literally said “more people will forget or not it figure out”; it’s about taking advantage about the people not aware of it; it’s quite literally, a system that profits of disinformation.

But you’d rather blame the people for being “dumb” rather than the company using the scummy tactic. Free feeling of superiority babey!

Look, that’s the whole point, they are going to take advantage of people being a little dumb, but how much of a dummy would you be to side with the company taking advantage of this, the same company that is far more concerned on profits than consumer agency and employee stability?

This change does not affect subscriptions at all. Your point is invalid.

You know what, yea sure then

If you regularly lose yourself in the middle of something maybe you shouldn’t be doing anything with spending money online and should have someone supervise if you do

Whats the difference between buying 30 days of game time once, and subbing for 1 month and canceling your subscription? lol

Please find the differences between these two pictures… haha

Well, congratulations on getting your sense of superiority and accomplishment by letting a multi billion company employ blatantly anti consumer tactics.
