Good AIO for am5?

sup bros asking for AIO recommendations, gonna go ahead and try to get with the times and try a liquid cooler since ive only evr had air coolers. ima dinosaur bros

case is a corsair 4000D
this will be cooling a ryzen 7800 x3d cpu
running with 32gb ddr5, a 6700 xt gpu and gaming on 1440p. currently have my system all loaded out with noctua fans throughout and temps get into low 80’s max on heavy use

The 7800X3D is pretty chill for high end. I’m still using an iCue h100i for mine, which was around $115.

I just bought my brother a Frozen Edge for around $50, which is a 240mm AIO, for his spicy 7700X, and it’s now running cooler than my CPU now, granted I run all Quiet settings with a conservative fan curve in an old 450D case cramped up with a 7900 XT.

i wonder if this 360 will fit in my case, i’ll link it below, the radiator is a monster and like close to 16" long i tink but maybe i can install it vertically in the front of my case which is a corsair 4000D

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CJ636ZTH?th=1

nvr done dis before, do u think that would work seems a good price on this with prime day going on, and 3 fans seems like it’d cool bettr than 2 i guess

Can’t check at work. You should be able to look up your internal case dimensions for AIO for. Corsair’s modern cases will likely accommodate the max size of AIO, but you can always double check.

good idea, chkd case specs on corsair site n the info is slightly unclear but going on what i see i tink a 360 should work

Hey Swarfmeister. Nice to see ya again. Like I said in your other thread…

The BEST performing AIO on the Market right now is the ASUS ROG Ryujin III which has a Asetek 8th gen Pump and EK-Nucleus. Neither is cheap but you get what you pay for. Just Behind those 2 is the Arctic Liquid Freezer III.

Those 3 AIOs will run 7-10c Cooler Under full load than any other AIO

Here is a video showing a comparison between these coolers

holy smokes 300+ is some serious dinero just for cooling but looks like it does the job for sure

Nah you can get the ASUS ROG Ryujin III on Amazon for $220 right now. The Arctic liquid freezer is 100

Prices in that video are from one at first came out I believe. Unfortunately Rog makes premium products and they know it so they always carry a hefty price tag. The Rog Ryuo III is 160. It’s just as good it just doesn’t have the vrm fan or the fancy LCD screen

Those are ridiculous prices for a AIO. I bought my brother a $50 Frozen Edge (240 mm), and it cools his 7700X more than my h100i Capellix (~$112, 240mm) cools my 7800X3D (granted, I have a cramped case and an extremely conservative fan curve).

def some crazy prices, i spent 160 on my capellix xt and even that feels insane

You will also run 15c warmer

56ºC under load is plenty cool.

You have to understand Im an Enthusiast. I will always be using high end parts and also the best performing on the market

I’m a realist. I won’t spend money unnecessarily. There’s no need to get a 420mm (which are only ~$100 anyway), and it’s excessive even for the 4-5 consumer chips that could actually utilize it within reason.

thats what makes ur input continuously interesting, its good to get the perspective of sumone who has the best stuff n understands exactly what makes their stuff the best
