I don’t really care about this expansion, it’s as inspiring as phase 4 of Marvel. I don’t care about the story, I don’t care about the zones. Just make Return of Arthas expansion. All these new expansions feel like you have a writers block blizz.

Personally, me and most of my RL friends who haven’t played in years are super excited for Dragonflight. A return to Azeroth and more grounded adventure! No cosmic threats of death dimensions.
Plus, I have a huge soft spot for dragons in any fantasy franchise. All my character mogs are designed around dragon themes. And WoW dragon lore is one of my favorite parts of the game. So yeah, I’m definitely in.

I got beta for DF with the first round of invites and put a bunch of hours into it and just didn’t feel any excitement
I just hit 70 on fresh and I’m so keen for launch, got a few days off and got the cupboard stocked with some snacks

Back to the basics would be nice with the story. Dragonflight is actually undoing quite a bit from Cataclysm. I won’t spoil but… I still lament the death of Malygos.
The expansion is generally bringing the dragons back to the forefront, they are a strong foundation to World of Warcraft’s lore, and I hope their return will bring a positive turn around to the game’s progression. If even marginally.

There was a poll, I’ve seen videos, reviews and comments. Nobody is really praising this new expansion.
Same. If they can’t even give us more than half the new dungeons they usually give us per expansions, I’m not going to reward that.

They have regurgitated enough with Classic. They can’t keep bringing old characters back. Theyve already ruined a lot of the good characterization they had in the beginning.
Though I somewhat agree that DF is not going to be the massive return of WoW.

What if I told you that the greatest threat to the entire universe is yet to be revealed. Something so insidious that it makes everything prior look like a Saturday morning cartoon by comparison. And what if Dragonflight is just the very beginning of that story?
How to do you know its “meh” when it isn’t even released yet?
