This has gone on way to long. Goldshire is detestable for many reasons, the den of filth and even worse the people ruining a perfectly good hobby such as roleplaying should not be tolerated by blizzard for as long as it has. Seriously blizzard put a GM there for a day, and dish out some bans, and get it together.
I have heard of game masters getting involved in in game funerals and hate rallies to keep the peace, at this point, your silence on the subject is consent. Once you punished a few, word would get out, and these clowns would move along.

This complaint against ERP in Goldshire on Moon Guard is laughable at best. Anyone who has a sensitivity to ERP should take their main/alt elsewhere. Obtw, ERP doesn’t only happen in Goldshire on Moon Guard. However, there are MANY, MANY specific RP groups who are serious about their lore focus as well on Moon Guard.
I rolled characters on Moon Guard initially out of both curiosity and to test the market profitability there. While I have sat in the Goldshire Inn for an hour or two during my earlier days rolling new toons there, I found it hilarious that people would spend hours of their time ERP-ing (it’s not my thing, personally). Then again, I have a “to each their own” mindset. I’m actually glad that it’s mostly closed groups that congregate in small places for such activities. I ended up moving on with my activities, my game time, and my day leaving the ERP-ers well alone and moving forward with my own objectives. Things went so well that I moved my Main to Moon Guard 3-ish years ago and never regretted it.
There is a whole other world out there on Moon Guard than ERP. People in Trade Chat have real conversations. The queues are great! Help for WQ’s, Legacy Groups, etc ., is rarely time-consuming (depending on the time of day), and there is a very active raid community there.
Moon Guard is not a problem for the person not concerned with ERP, nor the consenting adult. And there have been blog write-ups since Vanilla with Blizzard’s awareness of consenting adult’s activities, as well as parents needing to monitor their children’s activities, advising against children creating characters on Moon Guard. You can google the articles if you like.

I am not into cybering or whatever guys do in there.
But i do not believe they should be banned or something, they do make the experience different and funnier tbh i really liked to level a char in there. If anything they are a prime example of freedom and ERP and their gameplay should be improved(except for the cybering part due to… well technical issues)
I still laugh hard when i see the turtle god video.
Its frankly funny how the inn is, its also notorious troll spot where people go there to laugh and joke around, outside, behind the inn is a pvp hotspot too. Take the good with the bad! ALL RP servers has ERP in it, that’s true. WRA has it.
I report what is highly offensive - but find it just more laid back in the rp. I am a laid back player, and other RP realms are just too serious.
Take the good with the bad on moonguard. Just ignore Goldshire, you’ll be fine!
