Sounds like it could fit as a toy. There’s already plenty of similar things in the game.
Golden gear tends to be extremely tacky anyway. Yes, I am saying that as a goblin. Love for gold does not mean I literally want to wear nothing but gold. Wealth can be displayed via multitudes of vibrant colours, such as my own current transmog, which is predominantly black and red. Having little bits of gold is fine, too. But not completely gold.
For example:
Is very tacky and ugly. Far too much.
Sad that all the gold armor that actually pop are so old.
I think you underestimate how long things in video games take to make.
This is one of those things that would be so far down the list of priorities, that even if it was fast, it still wouldn’t happen over using that time to do something actually useful.

I feel like people aren’t fully grasping just how much of the top talent has left Blizzard over the years, and even very recently. The recent RTO mandate and subsequent exodus of employees is probably why season 2 is unmitigated garbage compared to s1. Things are only going to get worse from here, lol. The people with the chops to actually make the game work properly are long gone, because they’d have no trouble finding work at companies that are much better to work for. This game is literally being kept afloat by the D-team.
