So, I knew this would happen sooner or later, but DF gold World Quests are now officially worthless. 100 gold or less for each one.

I’m not, like, complaining or anything, but it’s disappointing. I made SO much gold from these things over the past year. Hopefully WW has a decent source of raw gold, as well.
Pretty much par for the course, they don’t want to force people into old content for gold

World quests? Oh I forgot those existed. I haven’t done them in forever lol
I mean, they actually left gold in this time, that’s unusual, normally they just change it into that expansions resource
Dang, they really are uncharacteristically on the ball this time when it comes to ensuring nobody wants to do anything but TWW once the expansion’s live. Usually this doesn’t happen until a week or two after the initial leveling rush is done.
This must be the culmination of data analyzation over the past few expansions that suggests new expansions aren’t as popular anymore as they used to be. So now they’re taking a hammer to older portions of the game to not-so-subtly tell players ‘go to the new areas or be miserable’ lol

Reducing or removing gold from past content needs to happen. It’s one of the things that helps keep the economy in check.

Look on the bright side: there’s no longer any reason to have to listen to toddy mcwhiskers and the other annoying dragonflight expedition characters.
Honestly that’s fair enough, because we all know TWW is going to be a trainwreck of bugs and unpleasant experiences too. 
Always a sad day during expansion turnovers.
Except the majority of people still do participate in the new expansion lol. Yes, we also do old raids, etc, but people also like new
Just like DF was, the boat did not work for awhile, the areas were crowded, and it was a few days until it was playable in an enjoyable way, had there been something to do in the old areas, it would have been better.

I am just wondering how many more updates this game can handle before the system can’t take it anymore. Didn’t they say years ago, they are already pushing it to its limit?
