Imma tip enchanters less now because your demanding people meet your tipping requirements.
GLHF
If you want to charge for your services. Charge for them.
Don’t demand people automatically give you a specific tip… lol

Either charge a base tip amount or don’t complain. Tipping is dumb either way, which is why RL good countries get rid of it. I’m not supposed to pay your wage, that’s your bosses job. But for wow just charge 20g an enchant or something, but I think you would probably not get many responses unfortunately. Wrath most people are lazy will buy and overpriced enchant off the auction house. Try to make gold that way, super op.
Says who?
I expect a tip. If some cheapo stranger thinks I will enchant his gear for free, he’s mistaken and I don’t mind throwing his mats back in his face.
Don’t expect me to be professional to these parasite slugs.
5g for 2 clicks of your mouse is more than fair.
Says the definition of tipping. If it is mandatory than it is a price for a service.
its not a tip if its required. its a fee. List your fee when you agree to do the enchant. Period
You do realize people who haven’t ever leveled a profession have no clue about time to gather resources, and leveling them and think it’s like click 3 buttons…
This is a problem across all professions, 5 gold? eh dude you just had me make you 1,500g mace… do you understand I had to fight with the gold farming bots to get to where I am now in this profession?
Yeah, because the cost of levelling the profession and acquiring the recipes isn’t worth compensating lol.
I wouldn’t worry about it too much because all crafted gear will very soon be worthless.
you may have missed the point… just saying
Why are so many of you focused on the wording that the seller uses to advertise their profession?
If a seller offers enchanting for your mats + tip, do you honestly take that as an opportunity to not compensate the seller at all because they used the word “tip”?
Does a seller actually have to state a minimum fee to prevent low life cheap players from not giving a copper?
I certainly don’t think so. You can whine about the use of the word tip or fee all you want. I will still throw their mats back in their face if they think they can not pay me a copper on the basis of advertising as a tip based service.
It is worth compensating… 5g per 2 clicks
If the Tip is mandatory, then it’s a fee, not a tip.
There is a difference. If you cannot gather that, then that’s a you problem.
Tipping is a bonus extra someone gives for good service.
Based on your replies here, I doubt you have good customer service, and I’d not tip you a copper, then again I’d probably find another enchanter to do my enchants. Not like your some special snowflake that has something no one else has.
I will always tip 5g per service. No more. No less.
Be glad you’re even getting gold for standing there and clicking a button.
BTW, I am absolutely fine with cheap players finding other enchanters. I don’t cater to ignorant players.
And I don’t cater to entitled brats.
You aren’t special, you don’t have anything someone else doesn’t have, you don’t deserve a tip.
You want to charge a fee, charge one, only reason you say it’s a tip is because you know you’d get less business if you charged upfront.
It’s not a tip then if you moan about it. Set a price or be happy with a tip
Enchanters don’t deserve a tip? LOL. What a boorish attitude.
I guess some players have no shame.
Not with that attitude.
No one’s entitled to a tip.
Tips are earned by customer service.
This isn’t IRL where people live off tips, go do some dailies if you’ve got no money. Powers literally in your hands.
And based on your attitude I’d 100% say >You< don’t deserve a tip at all.
Toxic. I’d rather take my business elsewhere, probably tip other enchanters with dream shards, but not you.
They do deserve a tip… 5g
