Squished everything else. If it is so important why would you not also have squished vendor prices and player gold…
Because there’s already multiple gold sinks in game to take care of that
Edit: typo
They squished profession items to train like BFA’s requires 100+ gold to a few silver, though Classic’s profession training prices are out of wack when you are at 200+ requires 50g+.
Also raw gold farms got nerfed, with the squish vendoring old raid items have decreased in value by around 50% or more.
But big numbers make things harder and vendors having the same prices still slows progression.
Not when nothing has changed economically
Are you kidding me?
See this thread I created and then get back to me.
The other squishes didn’t need to happen either as it really changed nothing. So where is my gold squish. I hate seeing high numbers let make 1gold actually mean something again!
Interesting so did your money on mains get squished? If not then not what I am talking about.
Squish it into platinum and rhodium.
1,000g = 1p
1,000p = 1r
Actually it did. We saw it in MoP —> WoD, hen WoD —> and legion —-> BfA
Something about how the game computes/operates when you have so many large numbers flying around everywhere.
Like the squish in Legion. Going from 1.5mil Envenoms on my rogue to like 3.5k
I forget the “technical” definition of it, but that’s why
Thats not a squish. Making 1 gold feel important again is what is needed. Silver and copper is ignored. I mean our characters have earned so much money at this point you could have built your own castle and payed a private army.
Or bought a 2 mil gc mount…aka gold sink
TBH I’m surprised they just haven’t come up with a new currency.
Out with copper. In with Electrum or something.
Sure it will be like mobile games having three forms of currency when that happens. It has been fun watching Overwatch slowly work that crap in.
Gold-pressed latinum!
All the goblins will race change to Ferengi!
Or we could go with quatloos!
/moo
I wouldn’t mind seeing a mount squish. Make each player choose their top 25 mounts they want to keep and then lose the rest.
There’s no real reason anyone would realistically own 500 mounts anyway.
Upboat just for trek reference. Loved when you found out the gold was worthless.
Why are people so afraid of big numbers? Are they bad at math?
I know right. Also trying to re-balance a entire games math is always fun right? Sure the devs loved the fans and management that pushed for it.
Hands found on my gold get eaten.
If anything, gold seems easier to make…
