Anyone got tips on how to make money on my warrior?
I’m mining/eng
I know I can make gold doing quests and dungeons but I’m looking for something a little more lucrative.
I’m going to give fishing a try but that pretty slow going.
It’s not like I’m a hunter/lock with the ability to speed farm using a pet, nor can I do pick pocket runs as a rogue…
Do I really need a farming alt just to make money for consumables and my epic mount/bis (helm, etc)??
If you tank reserve first orb in strat. Jump runs dm just be the only miner in group

Do I have to be Prot to take strat or can I still tank it as arms?
Is all gold farming for a warrior healer dependant ?
How much am I able to make per hour doing jump runs?
You can tank literally anything outside of a raid as Arms/Fury (either, or both) but it will be more difficult for both you and the healer. Rage generation and damage will be better, but you’ll also take more damage. So if your DPS doesn’t suck and your healer is cool with it, go as Arms/Fury.
Fishing/cooking doesn’t care about which spec you are. Yeah fishing is kinda slow sure but if you’re patient and selling the fish that are sought after (winter squid, nightfin, oily blackmouth savory deviate delight) then you can make decent gold.
I’m level 48 and most of my money has come from fishing/cooking and engineering. I’m at 278 gold atm and the goal is to be at 500g by 50

You said you’re a miner. Go and mine Rich Thorium veins for Arcane Crystals.
I’mma be honest here, you would be better off with an alt. I have a Warlock main Allianceside that feeds my Warrior alt. You rolled Warrior first, but it would still be worth rolling an alt that can farm for you.
Even if you find a way to farm money on your Warrior, doing it on an alt is going to be faster.

fishing is worth it after you hit 125
if you know where to fish
but not so much once you hit 60
also spamming dungeons at 60 will cause your gold to just pile up, although slowly
by the time you have all the non-epic dungeon gear you want, you should have your epic mount unless you spent a ton of money on devilsaurs edgemasters or deep woods/flurry axe or w/e
Make a mage or hunter alt.

Tank for DM runs and put Foror’s Compendium on reserve as it’s a tanking item. If you can get 4 other Pugs to actually join and give you the book, you can sell the book for 800g-1500g depending on server. Take note though, this practice is getting common and the number of players that will actually let the tanks reserve the book in Pugs is getting smaller as they get wiser to this tactic.
You won’t make hardly any money with engineering. Most things I sold were at a loss just to cannibalize the leftovers from skilling up. The ONLY 2 items I’ve found that might yield you a profit are the deadly boomstick (for ashenvale quest) and gyro (for badlands quest). I skill builded off these as much as possible then sold most for a profit. But once the market flooded, their value was ruined. If you got up to 60 quickly, there was money to be made off thorium bullets, but I bet that market will be dead and gone before my engineers get there.
Fishing can be good if you camp the right fish, deviate, sagefish, nightfin, etc. But the best place to fish is in AV (which isn’t out yet).
Honesty, unless your warrior is going to be well geared, you’d be better off with another character to farm, like hunter. Rogue is good if you want an ore farmer. I like mage for picking plants. They have a great toolset for ignoring mobs, picking the plant, then running away.

Incorrect. You just have to do a little research

While not terribly lucrative since I don’t spend a lot of time fishing. Having cooking at 300 has been a nice boost to my cash flow. Been cooking and selling Nightfin Soup for just over 4g for a stack of 5 and its been decent cash. I’m looking for new cooking recipes so I can expand my market but don’t know where to really start looking.
Can you elaborate other than deadly blunderbuss and cannibalizing items while leveling eng?
Does one fish = 1 soup or is there other expensive ingredients?
How long does it take you to catch a nightfin?
If it’s a fairly reliable catch and the other ingredients are cheap, that’s like 60g an hour which isn’t bad. It’s equivalent to pick pocket BRD runs.
I have resigned myself to living without an epic mount. The AV one will be easy enough to get when that rolls out.
I make gold mainly by running dungeons. It’s not much but it’s something.
Run more dungeons and take me with you.

If he’s on a big server, this is laughable advice. Short of DM jump runs - not happening
Well, I do need more friends lol…
