Call to Arms only gave me 99 gold today. That’s less than 1/5 of what it used to be.
Everything seems to have been gold nerfed?

Unsure if it was intentional or a bug, but either way… it’s been fixed!
Call to Arms is now giving 900+gold.

Happens with every new expansion, previous gold sources get a cut when they are no longer current content.

Wish I had known that before subscribing this month.
Same level 80 characters were signing up for Call to Arms regularly just before Tuesday. Now it’s not worth it.
The cost of repairs in some LFR groups is more than what we get for Call to Arms.

and before you say ill go farm old world quests…they got nerfed too. gear is worth pennies on the dollar now.
that 25-50g per bfa gear. now its 7-20g. per. everything else. vendors for maybe 1-5g. tops.

I’ve never heard anyone complaining about receiving too much gold from gameplay.

no they complaing numbers where too high. so blizzard squished. and as a result of how the game works. that results in ilvl going down. and thus the gold for gear goes into the toilet. this happened last squish too. but everyone was too busy with their golds from the legion halls too care.

Man, call to arms in LFR had 300 gold last night for a first-time completion bonus before the stuff in the bag was even considered. Sounds like they messed that up and went way too hard in the other direction. Guess I’ll see if I can farm BC raids for what few mogs I’m missing instead of helping people get a starter set of gear.
Call to Arms isn’t gold from gear though.

mythic is tuned to the same difficulty as old lfr. You can pretend you can clear mythic now.
Yep. Gold sources have been nerfed, gold costs have been increased.

Most people aren’t going to buy tokens. We’re going to unsubscribe.
It’s to maintain the value of gold in a somewhat constant state. To limit inflation.
except its not just world quests this time.
blizzard c suite stopped caring about non token customers ages ago.

I’m not sure you intended to reply to me? I’m not following. I want to finish up T5 for my characters since I ignored Serpentshrine because of how annoying the lake and elevator bosses are. With nothing to do for the next few weeks, perfect time to slog through it. I don’t care about the vendor price of that stuff as it was already miniscule.
