So i have noticed the last few day both in post and on youtube. they seem to have a influx of people saying how its so hard to get gold and to have your mount at lvl 40 or 50 what ever it is.
I just wanna be one of the few that tell you…its not hard at all…if your sole focus is not hitting 60 just as fast as a no life you spends 40 hours streaming trying to make playing games their job…which should be most of you.
For example. My druid is lvl 24…and has 30gold with all skills. and i did it with out professions…that crap is so over rated…as the market is so flooded with it every thing is cheaper then a discounted toothless gnome on a 2 silver special. I get to play very little. I simply start each day with a short 30 min farm that i found.
Don’t let the idiots fool you, its not hard to make gold in wow classic…You just have to break away from their power farming to 60 meta…I know what a thought

Ya you can farm gold at lower levels, but half an hour of your time at 20 is going to be way less gold than half an hour of your time at 60. It 100% objectively is more efficient to level first and farm later, especially since the gold you’re able to get at 40+ is probably 2-3x as much as it is <40 (in regards to mount farming)

Yeah but the problem with that is simple…You rush to 40+ and what you are farming is pvp contested most likely, and if you can already have your mount you will start on that path 2-3x more efficient then if you did not have it…and 30 mins a day for 2 or 3 days while you get to 40 is not going to hurt your xp per hour enough that it warrants getting to 40 with out have enough gold for your mount.
Where do you farm at and what is it that you farm? Also I assume you put that on AH? Thank you
Nice, my server AH is bizarre as it’s better to vendor the stuff you make. When you see Toughened leather Glove selling for 45s a piece as people get in to AH PvP battle. For me, it better to sell the mats I make from gathering. Now, I’m level 28 and sitting on 35g

On my server for low levels you can farm westfall birds for light feather reagent.I am typically up early in the morning and no one is ever leveling their(remember these are quest birds…please dont be a total dik)…sells 3 gold a stack and 30 mins nets me 2 to 3 stacks. Plus drops eggs almost every time. 1 stack of 10 goes for 1g…and 30 min loop you get roughly 10 stacks. Plus the meat sells to cooks. this does not include the random green drops that sell for 20s-1g per. Plus vender trash. Litterally farmed 24 gold in an hour

I think all the servers are like that. I don’t really sell anything either. I keep my better BoEs for alts, and just vend everything I don’t use for LW or FA. That’s just going to take time to change.
Jebus! I farm Stringy Wolf Meat in lower Silverpine, and get about 50s per stack. I’ll have a ton of leather and at least 10 stacks of the meat in about an hour, plus I get to beat up on the occasional Son of Arugul. I go into zen mode and bam, bags are full.
Learn skinning farm beasts skin them just vendor up to heavy leather. From thick leather its worth to auction. You have 200g and skills around lvl 40!

On my mage’s server, most things on the AH sell for just barely over vendor price, and crafted items sell way below the mat costs, because “OMG STUFFZ LISTED TOO EXPENSIVE”. You’re not making money there. TONS of post-level 40s are still running around with no mount. The server I rerolled on, actually has a stable economy and you can sell stuff and make money, and there’s lots of epic mounts running around.

Are you kidding? No one buys light feathers.

Darkshore is a little better, light feathers and then you can skin them.

If you spend those 30 minutes at the end of your play session, you can make better use of the rested xp .

Except it’s not most of the time. There are SO many different ways to farm “gold” at higher levels. Heck hit 39 ish and you can farm basilisks in southern STV. They drop “high” value greys that vendor for decent amounts of silver. Of course that’s nothing compared to a 60 hunter farming the DM tribute chests and selling the items, or a mage soloing lower level dungeons and dumping the cloth.
I don’t understand what the point of this thread is? Sounds like you were just trying to flex on someone but failed somehow since none of us didn’t have mount by 40 that is a veteran player

No, my point as stated in the original post which i assume you did not fully read the first time is this

Fish up oily blackmouths, the price has been skyrocketing because of P2, Made over 100g in a few hours of farming at level 25.
