With most players earning 250 gold per week give or take it seems that vanilla classic era servers are in a good place. I believe they had the numbers around 65% of players have over 10K gold now.
Will this lead to issues of wow inflation since there is no lateral moving to the next expansion and more gold sinks?

When there is nothing left to pursue, the gold will pile up… era is limited in what there is to do with gold, no matter how many idiotic gold sinks are in the game. Inflation is natural without evolution of the game.

I don’t think they were admitting to RMT’ing at all since they said “without.” I think they meant that this economy has a lot of gold in it from RMT so it’s really easy to make gold even without engaging in RMT yourself.

Gold inflation is a real deal on whiteman cluster now. Flasks cost for a ridiculous price 500g each.
Everything is 3 times more expensive than it was a few months ago.
Players are forced to join gdkps or won’t be able to afford consumables.
But earning 250gold per hour one can afford those flasks without a problem no?

I’m glad buying an epic mount will be easier when low level mats sell for 20+ gold a stack on the AH. I just hope more people waste their IRL savings for meaningless in game currency so that my farming for my epic mount will take less time.
