Whats the best farming tactic for a rogue? Locked chest runs? Pickpocketing? Stealth Mining? Mob farming? Lets hear it!

Mine rich thorium nodes in EPL. No one can out-mine a rogue.
Been making about 30g an hour farming certain mobs the last couple days. I don’t really have a use for the gold but need to pick funds back up a little after buying my epic.
Lots of rogues just do circuits of BRD. You pickpocket dwarves, kill Pyromancer Loregrain and Plugger Spazzring, then sell your junk to the thorium brotherhood guy in the bar and reset. There are a number of YT videos on it.
What level bracket?
I remember Rogues going into the stockades and just pick pocketing everyone there.

im level 60…mining is a prof atm but havent really started leveling it.
I do that and when I can use some relic keys. Have enough gold for mount and retrain engi at 60 (1k gold) still do it when I have some spare time.
Other option are available if you have enchanting. (solo farm mid level dungeon bosses)

BRM Pickpocketing is pretty decent once you figure out all the tactics and can do it without dying.
Shadow and Fire reflectors really make the bosses a breeze if you’re lacking on the gear side of things.
Otherwise getting mithril nodes out of Mara or Uldaman and turning them into sapper charges can be decent too.
In my case after getting my devilaurs set i dropped skinning for enchanting, I’ve been solo farming RFD and disenchanting the drops for about 35 to 45 gold per hour. Its allot better than BRD and far less tedious imo, nothing more annoying than having your pick pocket resist and dying because vanish bugs out half the time.
Another good farm if you have herbalism is gathering ghost mushrooms in mara which are usually worth quite a bit on the ah. And the way mara is set up you can run out of the portal on each side and reset so you have almost no downtime gathering.

I’ll never get people farming for gold issues. I have a 34 priest with 270plus gold a 50 mage with 500plus gold horde made 47 with 400plus gold a 30 pallie with 200g. Etc etc I dont play ah.
I sell green blues meats eggs herbs vendor leather golden pearls etc. Nothing special. Oh I use the drops I get if I need them instead of buy from ah. Upgrade my gear every 5 to 10 levels.
Basically if it will make me 5silver I’ll sell it on ah. If not ill vendor it
If mining do the silithus hives, just be prepared for pvp.
If herbalism, look at Mara ghost mushroom farming, or even just Hillsbrad herbing for swift thistle depending on prices.
If neither, look at brd pickpocketing and/or coffer runs (coffers depends on key prices) .
Elemental fire can be a really strong farm too, depending on your server.

what is that? i had a couple relic keys once and i believe i deleted them…thought it was something from a former dungeon i didnt need
It takes about eight hours to level mining.
i think imma try and knock it out tomorrow actually…its kinda fun zombie leveling professions will you netflix
