Yea and I’m sure you were one of the folks who trashed BfA until the last few content patches. It’s a tradition. Bash the expansion on release and then praise it as the best thing ever after you have 4 more raid tiers, multiple catchup mechanics and other things to do.
Then you out geared it, like honestly a danged if they do danged if they don’t.

I’m a huge classic fan. It’s very grindy though just a heads up. Classic is the opposite from retail though in the leveling experience is superb in classic whereas in retail it feels dull and pointless until you’re in the current content.
Retail on the other hand has way more end game options and is more accessible too. Classic has very few options, and unless you can commit to a raid guild you’re pretty much left with pvp, dungeon runs, and professions.
