Going over thing form "MakeGameGoodPlz"

His words not mine:

“QA teams have been instituting more post-mortems to understand better what can be done to prevent these issues from appearing.”

Then literally like 5 lines later

"Having more players test the content on the PTR is the best way to help Blizzard catch these balance issues before they appear on live servers.
“Please come play PTR”.

What about those QA teams you just mentioned?
We all know they don’t exist.

This is my favorite part.
“Blizzard always tries to not be too reactionary”

You people literally removed fart jokes because some people might not fart.
And replaced all pictures of women with apples.

Not sure take of it, any thing need be adress or not form the Q and A:

Patch Day Bugs, Fun-Detected Nerfs - But Why Tho? Interview with Paul Kubit and Maria Hamilton - Wowhead News

would bring up more “Colorful” Points:

Just make it a tank spec ffs.
There’s a huge desire for more tanks.
You’ve already given up on your ^&*!ty support class idea.

Don’t turn it into a worse Dev Evoker.
Just make it a tank.

End qoute.

I Don’t see “Evnoker” as tank or melee spec it a Caster so why every one dead set want to make it meele, since so far there armor can bearly take a hit before going don faster then level one murloc.

if they work on makeing how druid with tank I could see counter but mostly like throwing two hander sword to mage say “Go tank it bro”

Like what?

As a former QA for a different company, you can’t catch all bugs. There are some that just never appear until that one person finds it, then it’s like a wildfire and that’s all people talk about even though it happens to a very select few.

Yes, Blizz does have a QA department. Yes, they actually test the game. They are also working on patch 11.1.7, 11.2, and 12.0, and more than likely everything between. Do they get spread a little thing? Probably, but that is where good management comes in and the programmers solving the tickets they log.

In my experiences, the way Blizz does their testing isn’t actually that horrible. You have the internal QA, the dev team (yes, they are required to play the game), and a small external team, then the PTRs. PTR will give them more tickets than anything because everyone is a unique tester.

Plus not all issues can be solved overnight or may not even happen till it is launched on live. If no one logs and issue, because it wasn’t there on the PTR, then how do they fix it? What if it is a major issue? What if it only happened once on the PTR, and then affects maybe 1000 live players? How big of an issue is it?

There is a lot to this other than “just play the PTR”.
