Going Left in Brackenhide is horrible

How many people have tried to going left after the first boss recently? Last night I did a +17 BH with friends and I was joking about how we should try the left route next time. Two keys later we get another BH.

Holy guacamole! Left is a whole different game! Pull after pull its 130-200k HPS. There was even a pull of 215k HPS and the Dvoker friend still died… And it wasn’t even like a quick 10sec fight of 215k but more like ramping up to 215k.

Also going left is slower than going right. If the left path was faster but more dangerous it would be acceptable. There needs to be a positive to the left path.

Is there any chance on the next round of m+ tuning we could see some nerfs to the Rotbow Stalker mobs?? They seem to be the worst. The aoe bleed attack they do. TBF at least they give the healer 10-15sec to prepare at the start of the pull.

Just putting this out there so we can maybe get some other pathing options for M+. It gets stale doing the same path over and over. Its a shame to limit BH when its such a wide open dungeon.

Try going left in BH with friends.

The one time I had a group attempt to go left those rotbow stalkers put a swift end to the key. And I know there are multiple of them. I’m not sure how many can be skipped. They do insane damage though and are immune to CC so you can’t even get a break from the damage. Meanwhile the right side is just constant chain pulling without a whole lot of danger imo, as long as you keep the diseases from stacking too high.

This is the main reason why everyone thought this dungeon was horrible as a M0. Then they realised you can go right instead and it’s really easy.

Going left isn’t even the worst part, it’s that after that you have to engage the gauntlet after treemouth, which you don’t have to do if you go right.

While I havent gone left in a long time I was running a +19 the other day and we were trying to skip the rotbow stalkers but I accidentally buttpulled one of them and the group wide damage was crazy me and the healer were spam healing the group while i also bop and sac two group members and divine shield myself so I basically cheesed that pack with prot pally utility and we cleared it with no deaths but I wouldnt have been able to do that two pulls in a row going left

The runners and mass AoE bleed are two major reasons to avoid the Gnoll path.

One thing to note though is Blizzard apparently removed the lashers on the disease path as eligible trash counter mobs. You’ll either need to pull extra before the first boss or about half of the gauntlet after or before the last boss. Or pull more on the disease side, but…ugh.

The same problem is happening in halls of infusion at the start were going left is much easier because it gets to the point where a single orb beaming someone just kills them. I can’t even imagine trying to fight 3 orbs on a high fort key.

Their was a lot of tuning at the start but now it seems to have died off and dev attention has shifted elsewhere.

I been seeing that more and more. Even on keys as low as a 11-13 the damage from the orbs is dangerous.

SOOOOOOOOOOO

I went left in a +22…

Key was already bricked tbh.

We got past half a pack. Not bad eh?

I hated this dungeon until I discovered going left. And I think the best route is just doubling back after Treemouth and going full left side. It only takes like 15 extra seconds, and you don’t need to deal with withering reducing your damage and dragging pulls out to infinity or the gauntlet.

i did this a few times at the start of the season and it is really bad. the gauntlet from Treemouth to the last boss is also bad, so going left sets you up for either a long run back to Gutshot after Treemouth or even more awful trash choices.

The trash on the left trucks so hard with the group wide dots.

“long” lmao
